As someone who also has Lyme and has had it now for close to 20 years, the best advice I can give you is to stay active even when you feel so tired that you can barely move and your eyes are closing on their own. If you fight through it and get up and move around for a bit your willpower will win out and the weakness will dissipate. Probably the worst personal period I had related to it was when I got injured resulting in 4 herniated discs in my neck and had to get a spinal fusion surgery to relieve the incredible pain I was in. I was out of commission laying down doing abosolutely nothing for like about 2 months straight and even after I healed up a bit and was okayed by my surgeon to start getting a bit more active it was a STRUGGLE to get myself moving again, but I forced myself through it and eventually regained the ability to actually DO things again.

Hey bro just remember Lyme disease doesn't make you who you are. I got hit by a car and had multiple pelvic fractures and had multiple surgeries. I try to tell myself to remember it doesn't make me who I am no matter how bad my pain/anxiety is. I have almost made a full recovery. I know Lyme disease is different. But my point is don't let it control who you are. I know you know this. Just saying.
