12:30 is the old Levitz furniture warehouse store. The tracks were a spur line where train cars would be docked for new furniture deliveries to the store. When the train deliveries stopped the dock was used for trucks that took furniture to satellite stores in the upper and lower desert, and Corona.

7:00 I've been there done that, and the guy wasn't alive. I was walking my dogs near the tracks and my dogs went into the bushes and trees to check on something. Businesses used to have their own train tracks to get their goods from Santa Fe. Also Their used to be train tracks to move stuff from farms to other neighborhoods Like Del Rosa had a couple to move oranges< Highland had lots o tracks and alot of still out there. The 1800s and half of the 1900s there were no 18 wheelers, The biggest trucks werent much bigger than a Uhaul . Most cities had their own railways and big businesses had to have em. Be careful on that bike. Not everybody see ya, even with a horn and absolutely nobody cares about anything out their. Be Safe
