I don't play Master Duel. Never even watched the anime. I just enjoy the content, but even with my very limited YGO knowledge. Pretty sure those were Chaos packs and not Archfiend packs lmao. I'm surprised Sam never just Rocked up with Choas Angel "I got it in my pack". Usually I'm too ignorant on YGO to see cheating but that one was flagrant😂😂😂 Watching later in the video, Seereax seems to have been okay with the choice of Chaos Archfiend and you guys seem to have agreed its fair and he just overlooked it. So for yugioh, if u question the name, u need to look up the Japanese name, which this is a archfiend card. Sadly, there's not much to it. I can say most ppl won't consider a card with zero play in an archetype to be part of that archetype. Does it meet the requirements? Yes. It's a strong monster that is almost/already a staple to light and dark deck? Yes. Should we be salty? No. But am I salty? Yes!

Sam picking chaos Archfiend is technically an archfiend. It is not part of the archfiend archetype it's chaos. Thats like getting warrior of zera and picking dark lord zerato for your pack. Completely different archetypes.

Many cards have their archetype printed as the literal first word on the card. In this case chaos being the archetype. Secondly all the cards in that pack we're support for the chaos archetype. If Sam would have used a little Common Sense he would have understood immediately that it's not part of the archfiend archetype.

28:55 Seereax banishing the Chaos Beast was so much bigger than either of them realize. After summoning Beast with Core of Chaos and Shell of Chaos you can add back the Shell to your hand with Beast's ability, and then Summon Shell which brings Core back out so you have all 3 on the field, which can then go into so many different plays. The modern Chaos support is actually real sick.

I think you guys should consider doing more content mixing random packs. I think Seereax is better when he has severe limitations and has to make something jankier and slower. Often when its 1 archtype, since Seereax doesn't know how to play every archtype and Sam knows most archtypes it becomes rather one sided. This demonstrated a lower power, slower format and it has a lot more back and forth. Honestly, this was the best content I've seen from this channel in a while and would love to see more duels like this. Thank you Sam and Seereax for the content.

First off; fantastic video, you love to see duels like this. But something seems unclear somewhere along the explanation of the wheels' rules. Because to the audience it seems like when you rolled Archfiend you were supposed to go for the Archfiend subtype, instead of choosing any card with Archfiend in the name and then picking a secret pack it comes from. Discarding is different to sending by a card effect, if you had used polymerization for example all shaddolls used would have triggered as the effect that put them in the graveyard specifically states that it sends the monsters. Discard effects only work for things like Dark world and infernity. It's a simple wording issue about costs and effects discarding for the cost of toy vendor won't trigger anything as it is a cost, but polymerization, hand destruction and foolish burial all count as sending by card effect, also look for a semi colon in the card text to determine whether it is a cost or effect.
