❤❤ Well done, Gates of Imagination ! In the same genre of Conan the Barbarian, Elric of Melinbone ; Fafyrd and the Grey Mouser; I nominate " Kane " by Karl E. Wagner ! He created an imposing character, who may or may not have been cursed with immortality by an insane Elder God; he's been a pirate ; a king; a conqueror; a Mercenary ; a sorcerer supreme; a savage slayer supreme amongst savages and seasoned up with satanic seasonings! His series was published in the 1980s and is long since out of print. Don't know if it's possible , but I'd love to see a tale or two with his character 🤔😏!

Conan sensible left his trusted friend in charged and he got kicked out. Sounds familiar? Some things never change. 🙄 Excellent adaptation. Pelias may not be someone I would trust my child to, but he was honorable enough to help Conan and return a favor. Pity his second appearance (The Return Of Conan) is just Howard's incomplete story, so not under public domain. It would be great to here an audio book adaptation. It showed that Conan is far from being a dumb barbarian. When he's faced with something his sword can't handle (his wife's kidnapping) he had the sense to go to someone who was familiar with magical threats.

A fast, tight & straightforward Conan adventure from the creator himself. Many writers have contributed to this world, but Howard's work remains peak. Thanks, G.O. Imagination. (SLIGHT SPOILER:) Couldn't help but notice that this is another Conan story in which King Conan leads 5k knights into a trap (e.g. Hour of the Dragon). Are there others, and if so, is there a reason for the repeated 5k knights/lancers theme? I mean, were real word lancer divisions ever regularly 5k in disposition? Or what?

So much better than Jordan's Conan books. Howard's style was under the impression that Conan himself was telling him the story as he slept. Jordan did great on the wheel of time series though.😅

Ff vids to last 30 seconds , then play last 30 seconds. Once finished allow last ad to play, after ad press replay and you get 0 ads, Its worked everytime I've done it.
