Really a pretty high caliber film. They threw a big name director (Curtiz} and loveiy locations and sets. The Cast is kind of obscure. But understand the studio thought Ohmart was going to be a Monroe like star and this was intended to be her breakout role. But the film bombed.. Funny although MM is the standard that was being set, this role is something you would never see Marilyn in.

I see Ohmart much more like a Barbara Stanwyck type. Certainly in this role. I wonder why she didn’t click!
