The reason he compliments her fencing style that's purely the basics and isn't happy about her hate for it is because his is just a mastery of the basics through tremendous amounts of hard work and he respects her commitment. Its one of the weird things about Cid - he very much respects hard work, particularly when someone is doing despite when other people are telling them they can't or shouldn't. So when he is complimenting her sword skills, as "basic" as they are considered to be, he is honestly telling her that he can see the work she has put into it, even if others mock her for how simple it is.

In the ln he thought he saw magic in fact he didn`t but he sensed it that`s why he could see magic from day 1 as baby too. He tried to awaken it as human with all sort of rituals and that made it so he can see it and by proxy train it from earlier age then most

The meaning behind this scene is that the mc relates to her fencing style. Everything he's achieved, all the power he has, was built from discipline. Not some special gift given to him. Not his blood. No added flair. His sword style is based on perfection. Taking the simple basics and diligently perfecting them. She is attempting the same.

The subtext of the train scene is them both exposing/explaining their philosophies. You learn a lot about their characters from that conversation. The main character has no desire or interest in saving everyone but does have things he cherishes and wants to protect. The princess is jealous and insecure about her lack of sword skill. Japanese pronunciation guide time. Because Japanese is a syllabic language rather than alphabetic, it can help to break the words into the syllables as their own words. All vowel sounds will always remain consistent (a-ah, i-ee, u-oo, e-eh, o-oh) So we take "Isekai" /"い世界(せかあい)" and break it down. い- I (ee) せ_ Se (seh) か- Ka (Ka) い- I (ee) いせかい- Isekai (EeSehKaEe) Apologies for the format for the furigana for the kanji. If I knew a way to write it better on my phone, I would, but that's the best I could come up with. For those who don't know, Furigana is the written kana of a kanji written above the kanji when there is a reason the writer believes the reader may not understand the kanji.

Its funny to read the struggles of an english native with japanese xD For a german its quite easy, as most romaji are just the same pronounciation as always (except J, ふ, a little bit the sh in し and ofc R) :D For the J sound, you can then take the english sound of the letter...

I think somebody already told you but the scene says that she hates his style because it's similar to hers. He then says he appreciates her style and he doesn't like her dissing herself (he previously said he sees her effort in the basics). She then gets upset because he's defending her style which she hates.

Trooper1025 (the blue name that's hard to read) at 1:33 described it perfectly "EEEE like the letter 'E,' Seh like the first part of 'section,' Kai like Cobra Kai." Just search "Isekai Pronounciation," if you really want to get it right. It's not a very difficult word once you know

To help explain the subtexts of the scene: they have the same "ordinary" fighting style that prioritizes the basics over flash and flare. She has no confidence in her abilities and so she tries to insult him by pointing out that his style is as ordinary as her's. He has tons of confidence in his abilities and actually understands that just because something isn't flashy it can still be better than things that are. So he says as much by complimenting her style, saying that he likes it. Her reaction is because she believes he is mocking her, she doesn't realize he is a super badass, she thinks he is just a weakling so she doesn't understand that he has a much better sense for combat techniques then most people in their world.
