What an absolutely heavenly sounding set of pipes. For only just receiving them, you made them sing beautifully. I can only imagine taking receipt of a new set of Wooff pipes has to be a pinnacle experience. Congrats on the amazing instrument!

I see a lot of men bending over their pipes, squeezing them like grapefruits: Mick O'Brien, Cillian Vallely, Jerry O'Sullivan. They are so concentrated, closing themselves off, FIGHTING the music out of their instruments, pressing the bellows as if they are feeding a furnace. There is another way, more playful, more passionate (Paddy Keenan playing Colonel Fraser). My hope for you is that the new instrument gets some contagion from the Irish Traveller tradition and that you develop an individual STYLE, don't settle for reproducing fixed patterns. But can a girl from a Catholic and conservative (? - i judge it from your exterior) tradition take such a step?
