And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.

So can someone explain to me. He was muslim but committed zina drank alcohol etc etc but he only felt guilty after seeing the young girl. Or maybe did he do these things before he accepted islam. Why did he call to Allah after seeing the young girl if he was muslim but felt no guilt committing those major sins could someone clarify. Thanks.

Tim Banks Most of the times when a person sins it's because of weak faith. So asking " if he was Muslim yet he committed sins", isn't a proper question. Meaning regardless of ones faith most of the people do commit sins, but what matters is once given a chance will that person change or not. If anything his story is a hope for us that if we sin and make mistakes we shouldn't despair of Allah's mercy and once given the chance we should turn back and ask for forgiveness.
