The funny part is that school got me into Epic- Okay, so I had already known about the existence of Epic, and I even had Done For on my playlist. In my 8th grade honors English, our teacher assignees a book each marking period to read as a class, and the first one was The Adventures of Ulysses. She started talking about how the stories were called Epics, started saying about Circe turning men into pigs, and the wife Penelope, and since that was all I really knew, I decided to get really excited and tell her about it. I didn’t fully understand anything till later that day… When I proceeded to listen to the majority of the sagas. I got sucked in, and within less than 2 days, became super obsessed with the story of The Odyssey. Thanks to listening to the soundtrack, it helped me understand what was happening the majority of the time and even helped me study for the tests we had on it, even referencing it multiple times in the open ended question. Thank you school for doing one thing, getting me obsessed with another musical and helping me in Ancient Greece.
