My favorite spoof was when I was sitting at my computer and my cup slid over a foot towards me. My computer desk is glass and I guess it's slightly off tilt towards me. The condensation that built up around and under my cup caused it to slide. It took me quite some time to figure out what was happening because it happened so rarely. I wake up what I thought was a hour later from the door opening a closing again. This time when I woke up I seen the same figure who I thought was my roommate again, the figure was saying something to me, but I couldn't speak or move. Next day I go to my roommates barbershop to ask what did he wake me up for and tell me. He said he never was home, he slept over his girlfriend place. I was completed confused.

There are two things I have found almost every time. Castle towers are built in similar but much larger proportions to a flute. The "natural resonant frequency" is pretty much always infrasound type frequencies. The other is a bit less obvious. Many castles are built on top of a bedrock of some sort. Many have fissures in the rock that organic matter can fall into. This can break down and produce measurable quantities of xylene gas which is both toxic and hallucinogenic. That's why castles exhibit "ghost" activity on either windy nights or exceptionally still nights but never ones with a light breeze.

We still can't explain dreams though, and that encompasses sleep paralysis. Some dreams or sleep paralysis experiences are hyperrealistic and sometimes have an affect on the real world in some form or another. Example: My friend saw a shadow-like child at the end of her bed with glowing red eyes that would giggle and tug at her feet during sleep paralysis. She then saw it stop; run away; and knock a bottle off of her table while proceeding to stomp down the stairs. Of course this is anecdotal evidence but when you hear enough of these stories and have experienced them yourself you begin to realize that we know nothing about dreams and their impact on the real world. For this reason I personally believe these experiences fall under the paranormal (beyond normal) category and is still very much under question.

@TickleMeTimbers3 жыл бұрын
There is a lot of research on the neuroscience of dreams, especially recently, so yes, I would say, we kind of can explain dreams. The explanation for the bottle falling is fairly straightforward. In REM sleep, we still take in sensory information from the world (what stops is our ability to move). It's a paralysis with slight awareness. Experiments have even shown that stimuli presented to people while asleep in the REM state are incorporated into dreams. That means that the bottle probably fell in real life and the person's brain added an extra layer on top of it in the dream state. What's even weirder is that the place that handles memories is also responsible for a sense of timing of those memories, meaning that cause and effect can be recorded out of order.

I had an interesting experience with sleep paralysis. Prior to the experience, I was already aware of the sceince behind sleep paralysis and have had past experiences of it, as well. Most of the hallucinations I get aren't visual, instead it's more auditory. So here's what happened: One night, I was having a very happy dream where me and other people were celebrating some occassion, like a birthday. Then I had sleep paralysis. I couldn't move, it felt difficult to breathe, and my mind was conscious. And because I was half asleep, and I felt fear that I couldn't move (despite the awareness), and because my brain wanted me to wake up, the sounds of people cheering and laughing quickly turned into sounds of women wailing and crying. It was creepy. But I immediately knew what was happening to me. I was aware this was sleep paralysis and that the sounds of women crying were nothing more than just hallucinations. Because of that, it took away my fear of it. So I steadied my breathing and waited patiently, because I knew I was going to wake up any second now. As I keep trying to move my fingers and facial muscles to wake up, keep hearing the women crying until I finally woke up. It feels weird experiencing a hallucination while at the same time knowing it's just a hallucination. My advice would be to just ignore any hallucination you experience, whether visual or auditory, to the best you can (knowing its just your brain trying to wake you up), and focus on staying calm and trying to move your fingers or facial muscles. Honestly, when I get sleep paralysis, I'm more scared of the thought of not being able to wake up and die due to lack of oxygen, rather than the hallucinations that accompany it.
@KINDALIKEOF9 жыл бұрын
There's an expression for sleep paralysis phenomena in Korea. We call it "being pressed by scissors". Mostly people see a human like figure approaching them(or crawling on their bodies) while they can't move. A trick to escape the situation is to concentrate your strength on a tiny part of your body like a finger or toes. I've gotten to be a non-believer in souls after reading some neuroscience books. It robbed me of some fantasies but it also freed me of unreasonable fears like encountering scary ghosts. I think humans are hard-wired to think there's a soul that can last even after a body is dead. That can be overcome through education and that's important, I think, when we're facing with new moral challenges such as euthanasia, AI and so on brought up by ever advancing science knowledge and technologies.

When I was 7 y/o, my 9 y/o cousin and I slept in the “middle room” one night with the door open and seen a ghost in the middle of the night. (“middle room” being the room that is at the end between two hallways, connecting them.) The house has 6 bedrooms and 2 hallways. There’s the hallway on the front yard side along with 3 “front rooms”, and the other hallway on the back yard side with the 2 “back rooms.” At that time there was a total of 14 people living altogether in the house. Being a big family we stay awake and active until 11pm and then it’s lights out and total silence the rest of the night until the sun is up. So my cousin Bert and I fell asleep in the middle room with the door wide open to front hallway side of the house, and the door locked and closed to the back hallway. I suddenly jolted awake completely terrified and afraid. I then shook my cousin awake to tell her that I was afraid, which in response she said, “Afraid of what?” I said, “I don’t know I’m just so scared.” She then said, “there’s nothing to be afraid of.” Just as she finished her sentence we heard loud stomping footsteps running from the kitchen/living room coming all the way down the front hallway where the door was wide open. When the footsteps had just started, I looked to my cousin with fear in me and she said, “it’s probably just Jordan going back to his room, from the kitchen.” Even though Jordan was 5 at the time and there’d be no reason for him to be in the kitchen/living room so late in the night. The exact time is unknown. Could’ve been anywhere from 1am - 4am. All we had in the room was a small plug-in night light, that barely shed any light around the outlet. We stare at the opening of the door, into the pitch black hallway as we listen to the footsteps getting closer to the door.... The footsteps reach the entrance of the door way and it’s silent once again. Though only for a few seconds as a pitch black shadow, with a green outline, steps into the room and faces my cousin and I, just to stare at me with a smile. I suddenly get the random thought that it is there specifically for me, as I sit there beside my cousin stunned and unable to move or speak. Immediately, upon seeing the figure face us, my cousin puts the palms of her hands together and begins muttering prayers, until the shadow suddenly just vanished as quick as it appeared. That was the last time I’d ever see a ghost in the house. There were others, but that last one was something else.

I am all for science majority of the time but things I have experienced things that I just couldn't come to a conclusion about which has always led me to keep an open mind about generally everything. I found this particularly hard to find an explanation for when I was reading at my home alone I felt a slapping force hit the side of my head so much to the point the force moved my body and nothing physical hit me or sitting in bed fully awake reading or on my phone and feel a boney ass finger push in on my cheek. I'm sure someone will find a reason but honestly I am open to both sides of it

The Irritable Itch It honestly could be that you were falling asleep, and you were jerking awake. I was sitting in a chair in an empty break room in a warehouse one time, in the industrial part of town, and I was bordering sleep. I jerked my head forward as though it was leaning back, and I witnessed myself snoring. It was a hazy unclear snore, but I could hear it and I could feel it in my nose. I must've been taken from my balance between sleep and awake into consciousness. It was so dreamy feeling, I felt like I was floating. It didn't hurt my nose, as it normally does when you fake snore. I guess I was conscious too soon, maybe? A little glitch in the system? But of course if you remember reading up until the incident and didn't feel like you were sleeping, it's probably not the above, but it still could be. Cheers.

I was in a boarding school where our dorms were right underneath the mess. At night we could hear the chairs and tables in the mess moving around. It happened nearly every night and at odd non-specific hours like 10 pm or 2 am. It wasn't subtle or anything like you would imagine ghostly activity to be. It sounded like a 100 people running a marathon on the floor above us and every girl including our warden could hear it. All we could talk about was how nobody outside would believe us if we didn't get evidence so one night 3 of us sneaked upstairs with our camera phones. What we got on that phone still sends shivers down my spine. The first video showed a man getting up from behind one counter and walk right across the door from where we shot. We couldn't see anything with our naked eyes but there it was on our phone screens. We screamed and ran but summoned the guts to come up a second night and a third and a fourth and while the man never showed up we got videos showing these white orbs of varying brightness that moved around independently. The strange thing was that while we could see these orbs on the phone screen when we were shooting, if we looked up there was nothing there. It was spooky and bizarre but didn t feel too threatening and after a while we lost our fear till someone pointed out that if we continued making contact they might get attached and follow us instead. So after the 4th night we didn't go upstairs at night. My biggest regret has been that we couldn't somehow communicate with them and find out why they were there (too scared to try the ouija board). This was about 10 years ago and everyday I'm grateful for experiencing what I did back then because every time I'm tempted to blindly side with scientists who scoff at the paranormal, I look at the videos to remind myself that while I may not want to be a religious nutjob, taking what scientists say on faith is equally bad. Wouldn't it be refreshing if a scientist actually investigated these happenings seriously? I know of a place they can start from.

2 for you. 1. When I was 15, I was working in the garden, it was a hot summer day. I felt someone was watching me as I was knelt weeding. Looking up, I saw my Granddad who had died 6 years before. I was not scared, nor did I feel 'weird'. He was there for 2 or 3 minutes, then he vanished just as if someone had turned off a TV set. 2. When I was 19, I was working in a local factory as a laborer. One of my duties was to lock up the machine shop I worked in and check in the keys with the gate police. Doing my lock up rounds, I happened on a gate policeman, we chatted while I locked up the shop and went to the gate together to hand over the keys. When I entered the gate house, he was gone. He had been with me right up to the gate house door, and there was no way he could have slipped away. When I told the gate policeman on duty, he went white as a sheet and made me describe the man. Turned out a gate policeman had been in my machine shop 10 years beforehand, he'd surprised a couple of men who worked there, they were stealing tungsten rods. Apparently there'd been a scuffle and he'd died of a heart attack. I didn't stop my lockup duties, but I never saw the gate policeman again.

It also happened two times within a week. I still have no explanation of what it was but needless to say my 9 year old mind was super spooked. Another incident near this time was when I was in my mother's room when I heard whispering coming from her TV. It wasn't one voice, it was probably 5 different voices at the same time. The TV was also off. Who knows, maybe my imagination was running wild at this time?

Sleep paralysis happens to me also but I noticed that when it dose happen to me, I was always sleeping on my back. 1st ever experience was me falling asleep on my back watching tv on the couch and you don’t notice when you fallen asleep and now your dream picks up exactly where you drifted off to sleep, you dream now starts with the last thing you saw n my case the tv and me laying there, I go to sit up and I feel a hand or force pushing down on my chest, I try again to rise but I feel ha force push me back down as if an invisible person is holding me back I get scared and eventually I feel a shift which is me actually waking up now, I sit up and everything is fine. Another time I’m laying on my back in bed and must have drifted to sleep but I don’t know I’m asleep because my dream picks up with exactly what I was doing b4 I dose off which is me laying in bed looking st the ceiling and staring at the shadows in the corner. Not knowing I dosed off and my dream picks up where my reality left off, I feel the bed sink by my shoulder as if a 500 lb invisible person just plopped rite down on my bed right next to my side at the shoulder. I was sooooooo terrified and panicked I tried to get up so I can run but I could not move and I started screaming but nothing was coming out of my mouth then I feel that shift which is again like I said me actually waking up to the same environment in the same position I fell sleep in and now I’m able to actually scream but I catch myself and don’t try and scream out because I feel whatever we happened has now stopped or passed. It was terrifying. I meditate a lot and I do remember all of my dreams and I remember these instances when I was in sleep paralysis. I learned that you can control your dreams but it’s really difficult because you 1st have to know when it is you are dreaming as your dreaming and remember in your dream while your dreaming to take control of it. So, during a night when I fell asleep again on my back, as usual I don’t realize when I have dosed off because as I said your dream picks up where your reality left off so if you wer in bed laying on your back with the night light on, that’s what your dreaming now but you can’t tell it’s that’s until a dark shadow or alien or something spooked you so what I learned to do when I’m in a sleep paralysis moment, if I can remember to take control by thinking of anything, I do just that and I’ll think cross, the shadow turns into a cross, I’ll think alien, I’ll then see the cross morph into an alien face, I think child and the alien face will morph into that but I find find that the more things I think up and the more images pop up in place of whatever it was that was scaring me, eventually you just wake up as if your mind is too active now and your not just passively dreaming any more so I find I end up coming to faster the more I play with the images I’m seeing when in sleep paralysis and plus being able to do this has proven to me that it is very possible you have ppl out there that swear they were awake and the demons or shadows or alien they say was actually real and not knowing what happens next is within there control but because they don’t know their even dreaming in the 1st place and now see an alien, they panic like most of us including me would do and the what ends up happening next is actually what they expect to happen and that’s what plays out in their sleep paralysis where they are dreaming but don’t know it and can’t move, they think they should be able to move and scream but can’t explain why they can’t because they don’t even know that the last thing they seen and saw as they laid in bed is how their dream starts out and what happens from there on is very much in their control but because the think they are wake they don’t take control of the images they are seeing. So my advise to anyone who thinks they have been kidnapped by aliens or entities, you might want to avoid sleeping on your back first and foremost but also if you do and find yourself seeing demons or entities and being scared, most ppls 1st reaction when they are terrified can’t move and seeing demons or aliens is to start calling out to god or Jesus, I say keep going, think of the most craziest but non threatening thing you can think of such as a yellow beetle or a vase of roses just list off a bunch of things besides god or Jesus and see what happens. If you demon or alien starts instantly turning or morphing into exactly whatever it is your thinking like a vase of roses is now floating in place of the alien then you thing a yellow car and that pops up then you would have just proven to yourself that you were only just stuck in a sleep paralysis episode and not the worst of being visited by demons or aliens then you called out to god and they disappears now u see a light or angel, because if you do so and stop there then you haven gotten the answer you needed. Which is were you sleep or was it a real experience so next time it happens yes ok call out to your god or guardian but take it a step further and just start calling out or naming or thinking random ass things and if the object haunting at night while your frozen and can’t move starts morphing into exactly that of what your thinking of then as I said, you have then just proven to yourself these terrifying experiences you think are happening while your wake in bed are really dreams or nightmares that you actually have control over to make the as scary as you want or not so scary. I do believe a lot of cases where ppl swore they had experiences at night while laying in bed are actually asleep but that’s not to say or explain away that there may be some genuine cases where ppl experience being abducted then find strange marks on their body next day or weird objects place in their body in areas they have never had surgery for any doctor to access and drop a weird tiny object. I do believe there are sum real cases but I believe most are sleep paralysis cases where the person is just convinced whatever the experience they had was an actual experience and not sleep paralysis. They can explore and prove once n for all to themselves if they are or aren’t dreaming by taking my advise. It’s exactly what I had to do to get to the bottom of the demons or invisible forces that showed up at night as I lay on my back waiting to fall asleep but not knowing I had already fallen asleep and that’s why the impossible now seemed possible such as demons and aliens and so on.

Deep sounds are unsettling, and the movie industry knows this well... what I like to call brown noise (which I know doesn't do what it actually is thought to) is a very deep noise which is unheard (unless your sub-woofer is a bit dodgy) but can give you chills. A lot of horror movies use it, especially during scenes where the victim is slowly opening a door and you're yelling "DONT GO IN THERE!"

I am known to be very sceptical but I cannot explain what I saw in my old flat over 10yrs ago. It only happened once in the 2yrs I lived there and all I want to know is what the black mass was. There were no windows for reflections, I was on the first floor. My lights fizzed like a huge surge of electric raced through them twice to the point they nearly blew and after that happened a black mass just appeared in the middle of the room and rushed off out in the hallway and disappeared. It was definitely not natural and I wish I had caught it on camera as it would be very interesting to know what the black mass was made of. Sleep paralysis is just annoying and I always push myself out of it because it disturbs my sleep. I was very much awake when I experienced the black mass and to this day I wish I could see it again just to try and figure out what the heck it was.

Me and a friend of mine were trying to find a cave, but couldn't. We tried heading home, only for us to see a red truck that was parked on the side of the road, after we passed said car, it pulled out and started driving in the opposite direction. The road started looping (same street signs, same bridges, same gap between the trees, same everything) and we were passed by the red truck three times (it aggressively drove past us and seemed to be trying to push us off the road), neither our phones' clocks or the clock in the car were working, and my friend's GPS said something in a completely different language and tried to get us to drive off of a cliff. I want an explanation for that one.

What is an apparition? Let's assume for the sake of argument that they occur. My theory on them scientifically is that the phenomena of spirits draining batteries is a key clue. Why does the spirit need the energy for? I theorize to appear. This is my take. Apparitions are known to be transparent and almost of a smoky quality. If the spirit can gather enough energy then I believe the water molecules in the air around the spirit become excited and outline the spirit thus creating the apparition. This would also explain why they fade away because the excitement of water molecules requires huge amounts of energy in their excited state. Like I said it is my conjecture based on what has been observed.

Once I started a new medication and it caused my blood pressure to get really low. When it did, I experienced hearing voices when nobody was home, seeing someone pass my door when nobody was home, seeing shadows, I would get chills, once, I woke up abruptly because it felt like someone punched me in the arm really hard! As soon as my blood pressure would recover, I had none of these symptoms. I don’t think ghost hunters are really “studying” the super Natural because I’ve never heard of this happening to anyone and when I’ve posted it, they don’t care to study it because it goes against their beliefs. I’m not saying there aren’t ghosts. I have no idea but to me, they need to study other things besides ghost hunting.

I've had an experience several years ago but even though I did was it real, or was it just happening in my brain? Because everything we see, feel, etc is happening inside of our brain, right? But here is what happened. I went to sleep on the couch. Had the kitchen light and tv on and woke up some hours later. When I turned over and looked down at the end of my couch there was a figure standing there just staring at me. It had no face or clothes and hard to explain, but then it suddenly turned and went down the hall. And I was not in sleep paralysis.

Have had an ultra creepy sleep paralysis incident once out of the many somewhat creepy ones. This once when I was asleep and was having a dream, I knew that I was in a dream and I should try to wake up. As if my mind was awake but the body still asleep and I couldn't move my body at all. So, I started to try to move and scream but it felt like my voice wouldn't come out of my mouth. Later I felt as if my dad walked into my bedroom so I thought (still in the paralysis state) that maybe he heard me scream in case I had managed to scream at all and hence he would've been worried and so he came to see if I was okay. But he just sat on the chair in my room and kept watching me. He didn't say a word. After some time it felt as if he tried to come to me and wake me up and right before he could touch me, I got out of the paralysis and woke up and no one was there in my room. I walked out of my bedroom (coz i wanted to pee anyways and the washroom is in the living room) and checked if dad was in the living room. Nope, he wasn't. A similar thing had happened once before this incident but it was my mom this time, but she didn't sit on my chair watching. She just entered and tried to wake me up and before she could touch me, I woke up and again no one was there in my room. So really I was kinda creeped out by these 2 incidents especially. Thankfully such incidents have completely stopped happening w me, guess I was just really stressed back when they would happen very frequently.

Ok, now explain my very spooky encounters at my cousins house in Springfield, IL. She said when she would come home some days, her lights would turn on as she approached the house... but no one is there and she has no automatic sensors. When I was visiting her, I was about to go into the basement, reaching for the completely latched door, it unlatched itself and opened for me before I could get my hands on it, how? It's a good working door that was obviously latched before I grabbed it. A ketchup bottle was sitting on the kitchen counter for a while and just fell over by itself, I didn't experience this myself, but I do know it was on a flat and even undisturbed surface. Once we were all in the living room watching a movie, everyone in the house was accounted for right there huddled around the tv. Suddenly the dishwasher turned itself on. This dishwasher may have been locked, I don't know, but it's an old dishwasher that does not have any sort of automatic timer, how/why would it just turn on all by itself, it has very mechanical controls that require either pushing in a button or turning a dial, that detail I can't remember. She has since moved out of that home.

I had the "dead body climbed on top of me" during sleep paralysis. It was a completely black mass in the exact shape of a human with pointy exaggerated fingers. I saw its hand pop up first, and then when I freaked out and "blinked" (during paralysis), it was straddling me and had a metal pole which it drove through my side. I screamed awake. Its called a "tulpa" or "night terror" and is a result of your brain starting to release DMT into your blood stream without you fully being asleep, causing you to have waking hallucinations.

My brother and I had little toy construction vehicles as kids. Not Tonka trucks, they were smaller than that, but bigger than Hot Wheels. I had a bulldozer and my brother had a front loader. They were battery powered, but at the time of this event there were no batteries in them. We were just pushing them around our bedroom floor. Our mother called us to the kitchen for supper. I was the first one done eating and thus headed back to the bedroom to continue playing. I got to the hallway and immediately noticed my bulldozer sitting in the middle of it. The sight stopped me dead in my tracks as I thought, "I didn't leave you there." No one could have moved it as my brother and I were the last to show up at the table, and no one left the table in between the time I arrived there and when I was done eating. I picked up the toy and carried it back into the room. I laid down on the floor on my stomach with the toy in front of me and stared at it. I didn't take my eyes off of it for what seemed like 10 minutes when all of a sudden the lights on the toy turned on and it started driving itself across the floor. I kept going until it hit the wall, then it turned off. I immediately jumped up, ran after it, and picked it up. The power switch was in the "off" position. I took the battery cover off and just as I thought, there were no batteries in it.

My fiancée's had sleep paralysis all of her life but she doesn't only get it after waking, she'll get it when going to sleep too. Or if she's shattered enough. Every bit of info about it online says it only occurs when you wake up, but it doesn't. All you need is to be going to sleep, or have been asleep. Most people with it don't just have the paralysis either. When you sleep your body slows your breathing down, sorta like a state of minor hibernation, this can make it feel like she can't breath at all. She does suffer from other health issues including Asthma, severe anxiety & epilepsy, which might be why hers is so bad, but the panic caused by the visions, paralysis, vastly slowed breathing & the inability to make any sort of sound makes her have panic attacks, leading to asthma attacks, leading, at times, to fits. Despite being 26 this year & having her first episode when she was barely a month old it still terrifies her, & she still tries to move &/or scream. She says any movement or sound she does manage causes her an incredible amount of pain. She asked me a few years ago to physically move her when I realise she's having an episode. I was reluctant at first given that there's no information about any risks of this, but depending on how bad it is anything from moving her arm to sitting her up can snap her body out of it. After them she's reluctant to go to sleep because she's guaranteed for it to happen again, or for her to have a terribly vivid nightmare, or a night terror. Regarding the poking in the back, she also can't sleep on her back, for any reason, because she constantly feels like someone's about to come underneath the bed in some way and attack her with a chainsaw or something. She's got a load of mental health problems, including Sociopathy, & a lot of the signs of Schizophrenia, which does run in her family, I wonder if it all can be linked to that?

For two years i was feeling jittery in my flat. Especially at night i would twitch and jump out of my bed. I had headaches and a constant feeling of anxiety and that there was something around me often in my flat making me feel that way. A presence of something always behind me waiting to pounce on me. I went to the doctor to explain but he gave me antidepressents. Then one day i heard a low rumbling noise which made me nausious and i felt extremely angry and anxious. I went outside and it turned out that there is a vent oposite my flat from a commercial building. I went to investigate and it turns out there are generators in there and the techs were fixing it they said. After they resolved the matter the feelings i percieved disapeared. I believe it was the low frequencies from these generators were causing my illness. I spoke to some of my neighbours and they told me they had been feeling similar symptoms and had also gone to thier doctor for help. My conclusion is that there are noises (barely audible) around us that can cause these manifestations and make us ill. The local council health dept got involved and monitors the noise pollution from the generators.

when a bed starts bouncing up and down, lifting each leg of the frame over a foot off the floor, I'm pretty sure any debunker will have a change of heart, I sure did. It drained every ounce of confidence in my life and I have yet to regain my confidence in knowing that I'm in control of anything. Resulting in me never finding a girlfriend, and being eternally traumatized. Combine that with a life living with Asperger's Syndrome & getting raped as a 5 year old boy & you can get the picture of what a lonely life really is. I hope it never happens to anyone. Brutal stuff, don't mess with ghosts people. Because when the bed started to shake, I got up and then thought, "if this is a ghost, i'm gonna try to make it more mad than it already is, so I sat back down, then it started bouncing 1 foot off the floor". Not cool bro, trying to convince folks that ghost aren't real, your pretty much spitting in my face without actually doing it. Maybe we'll see one another in hell and we can figure it out together, sound good?

SWIM had some awful ghost experiences when starting antidepressants. Dreams became very very vivid and sometimes dreamt of waking up but being paralyzed. It was so cool that nightmares could be induced at will.

I can tickle the sides of my stomach right above the hips, if I slowly drag my fingers against the skin... I don't think I have schizophrenia :P
@TheSpiritBeing8 жыл бұрын
Lemonz1989 that's because skin doesn't react well to slowly moving stimulation. So your brain tries to predict where the touch is actually occurring. The difference between where you're finger actually is while you tickle your hips, and where your mind thinks it is causes you to feel tickled, where your brain thinks your finger is touching.

Hey there's a great documentary on Netflix Australia about sleep paralysis, it doesn't argue the objective reality just let's people talk about their lived experience, do not watch it alone at night! It's called The Nightmare and will make you feel real compassion for people who's nightly experience is terrifying hallucinations. Also .. you will have flashbacks of yr own episodes.

I once lived in a house where a general died when I was younger. we moved back out because one night I started thrashing around in my sleep because I couldn't move or breath and my mum came rushing in to wake me. when morning came there where big hand marks and bruises on my neck. I was a small child at the time and my step dad was out of town. Please do explain.

How do you explain things being thrown around, banging, footsteps and things touching you that isnt there. Stuff that has happened at severe poltergeist sitings.
@kunz41643 жыл бұрын
call a scientist and find out because only they have knowledge to fully understand the little details like wind which can end up doing freaky things etc. As for things being thrown around, again when those stuff happen, no one seems to call the scientists to check it out. They just record a video or take photos which in todays age, you can do many fake things in videos and pictures.

Exactly. That is why we can be cloned! If a soul was the requirement of life, cloning wouldnt be possible!
@73brook8 жыл бұрын
+David Beckham I'm not saying I believe in souls or anything but your comment doesn't make sense. First of all, we can't be cloned, not fully. They can only slightly "clone" organs and even then it's not like they look the exact same. It's basically just taking cells and growing new things. And secondly, if they could clone people, the clones personality would not be the same as the person they were cloned from. So, even if souls were a real thing, it would not have anything to do with cloning at all.

I saw a couple of things where I grew up as a young boy. One that I remember the most was one night when I was watching TV. A woman came into the room. She had long dark hair and was dressed in a white night gown with blue dots. A blue aura around her. She looked at me and I looked back. It seemed like an eternity. She looked sad, like she'd given up on everything. I told my parents about it and according to our neighbors she had long dark hair and always wore the same gown, white with blue dots during the evening. It was the previous owner of the house. She died in the room where I was watching TV. There was no way I could've known about her looks and her clothing in other ways. I'm not religious. I don't believe in angels and fairies. I'm a man of science, always looking for rational answers. This though has me stumped.

I am also a follower of science, and I too have witnessed a few paranormal occurrences. The most vivid was when I was on vacation with my family. We visited a cemetery because we are into spooky things. While there I stayed in the car, and soon after my family went looking for ghost on the right side of the car, a misty cloud like figure floated past the left side of our car. I was frozen the whole time until it disappeared.

Once, I had a feeling someone was watching me while I was in a garage, I asked 'Who are you?' and drops of water spelled out 'fred' He helps me out by scaring me before I accidentally walk into something dangerous. Odd.
@thefiestaguy88317 жыл бұрын
It's a remote possibility but it could be a hallucination, much like people who have sleep paralysis "see demons", in actual fact nothing is there, it's their brain making out something is there because it's what the brain wants them to see, as they are scared and paralyzed in fear.

The reasonings in this video still didn't explain why I saw my grandma in the backyard standing next to my mother. Two of my siblings in different parts of the house saw her as well. She has passed away several years before the incident.
@christopher70428 жыл бұрын
RoseNZieg I've also had a similar incident when i was a child, but it was a random women in my hallway and my sister and I saw her at the same time. We were in the same room sleeping on bunk-beds and it was about 3 in the morning. We both woke up to seeing this women and both called out to each other for comfort afterwards. We both can still describe her perfectly and its been over 10 years.

Beardinator 5K i have read many things on the optical illusions that can be used to debunk ghostly sightings but even as skeptical i can be it really was a strange thing to see. nothing have yet to fully satisfy debunking my experience especially when it was in board daylight and my grandma was as real as when she was alive. it may seemed a waste of time to some people but science should investigate to all matters of the paranormal. there are many things that can't be explained yet.

@@thetruedarksoul168 not everything is explained by science :) science need to progress more. I am interested in reading ancient texts on mathematics . I know wright brothers didn't invented planes. There is whole blue print of planes in vedas about vimana(plane) with correct aerodynamics(1000s years ago) researched by NAT geo team. And much more knowledge about energies and paranormal as well.
@thetruedarksoul1685 жыл бұрын
Taran Darkalisia you see, the difference between a hang glider and a plane is that one is made for jumping off of a high place, while the other can take off on its own. The plane your referencing most definitely did not have a light enough airframe to support an engine capable of holding two passengers to lift itself off the ground. Also, even IF they were to discover a plane with a working engine AND a working aero plane model, how would that mean science can’t explain it? Science isn’t a person, it isn’t a religion,it isn’t an idea, it’s a *process*, it’s a *function* What “paranormal” energies are you referring to? Can you measure it? Can you trap it? Can you use it? If you can’t do either of these then the energy you display doesn’t exist.
@taranaliceart5 жыл бұрын
@@thetruedarksoul168 listen i am not scientist i am a various award winning Painter. I also write. I love to study as well. I know what are you talking about you need to read more it was a plane with blue prints thousands year ago and they also explored various planet's atmosphere without any equipments not only planes they had sophisticated batteries and gears, we could never make today. Its just it was so ancient that nobody could advertise it world wars ruined everything. But you can read 5000years ago PHYSIC VEDAS.
@thetruedarksoul1685 жыл бұрын
Taran Darkalisia okay as soon as you said that we couldn’t recreate it today you lost me. You have to understand that the worlds smallest computer is no bigger than a grain of sand. We have the ability to move individual atoms the way we want to have them align perfectly. We know how to make two particles with mass hit each other at 90% the speed of light. The only things we can not recreate is geometric patterns on the molecular level, due to how long it would take to create such an object. Just because you’re a painter and like to study does NOT qualify you to say that the plane blueprints found from thousands of years ago are real, LET ALONE better.

I know this is an old post but here goes: Quantum physics proves the existence of the soul (energy) after death. The amount of energy is still there but miniscule. The amount of energy it takes to make noise, such as a whisper or a knock, footsteps or a shout, is way, way too much for something as incorporal as a "ghost" to achieve. Where would the energy come from?
