Can you imagine how advanced we would be if her ideas and Babbage's were put into practice? Computers and even MRIs in the mid-nineteenth century? Amazing.

Not without the materry of electricity! Ada Lovelace and Babbage were exploring computerized mechanical advancements in the same way that Jules Vernes and HG Wells postulated the future of various future scientific advancements- general foresight, but lacking any specifics or scientific details.

Doron Swade needs to stop trash talking Ada Lovelace, she did a lot more than he thought that she did

The theory of the computer exceeded the practicality of the exusting technology of the 19th century, even today a mechanical computer is not practical and we had to await for the application of electricirt and electrical circuits whioch contained the inherent 'on/off' switch function to respresent the binary 'zero/one' state. Perhaps one day, nanotechnology might bring forth a mechanical computer, this is generations away from us.

DID YOU KNOW the general population was never meant to discover internet, let alone have domestic access! That's right, it was meant as a military tool. Think about that for a minute! This could have all been going on without any of our knowledge.
