I'm hearing this from so many people talking strategy and I believe that it's all statistically based and depends on dispersion. All this info is available from trackman machines.

Most amateur golfers are massively hamstrung by their course management….out of position, poor club selection, poor shot decisions….the stubbornness and egos of men stop them from scoring better!
