On this week's episode, Josh and Lexy (2025 College STEM Ambassadors) have the privilege of interviewing Dr Roger Yazbek, a Science Teacher at Scotch since 2023 and published medical research expert within the College of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr Yazbek has received numerous awards in recognition of his work, including a 2013 SA Tall Poppy Award, and his research has regularly featured on local and national media, in particular his work developing and validating breath analysis tools offering new opportunities for early detection of cancer and inflammatory disease that will lead to improved clinical management.
Josh, Lexy and Dr Yazbek discuss his background in medical research and how he came to be in the field, scientists he looked up to, favourite medical discoveries and a science-themed game of true or false!
