I remember many times seeing John Mason and the Fiddle Orchestra in Birmingham and always wanting to get up and dance, which sometimes they did in the aisles at the concerts. These videos are amazing though that he has done in the Hall

Singing in my head to this tune "heel, toe heel toe, one two three, TURN! step kick, step kick, turn your partner ROUND! and waltz, waltz, waltz, BACK IN POSITIONS" ah! just like learning for the competitions!

I knew it was a mistake to start watching The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra videos... I'll be here all morning now, and the washing up awaits... Thanks for helping me procrastinate though... pure joy!

The incredible vanishing orchestra, just the conductor and two fiddles camouflaged as an orchestra! Love the dancing.

Good thing they've been measured properly. I went to one of these things once. Great fun, but my kilt was too short. Looked like I was wearing a miniskirt. The six glasses of champagne I'd had before didn't help either.
