Hi Gary, great live video! Question on the planning trigger (stage 7). You said something like "When the todo column drops below the reorder line, it's time to arrange planning meeting"... I'm not sure what you mean by "dropping below the line"? Would you mind clarifying this? Or do you have a video specifically about this? What I think it means is that if you only have a few items in your todo column, then there is little value in planning anything, you just do them... but if you have many items, then it makes sense to start planning things, hence the trigger line?

I'm annoyed at myself for repeating a mistake that I made in a training video last week; let me re-state: "When the NUMBER OF TICKETS in the todo column drops below reorder LEVEL, it's time to arrange planning meeting" Or I guess I could say "When there are no tickets under the reorder point line... " Now to the purpose/intent of the REORDER POINT. It's simply this: to give the business time to convene and hold a Planning Meeting. If the reorder point is set at 3, we're saying: "we think we can call and hold a Planning Meeting in less time than the team can pick up 3 tickets." Put another way: the shorter the planning lead time, the lower (in number... but higher up the board!) the reorder point can be. Great question.

@@Developmentthatpays I get it now, thanks for the explanation! So it's actually the opposite to what I thought... When there are no tickets under the line, we might run out of stuff to do, so let's have a planning meeting to replenish the backlog. Makes sense! Thanks!

Most electronic boards - such as Trello and Jira - can support Scrumban. The tricky bit is shared WIP, which may mean the use of a plug-in ( - but there's also a work-around).

@@Developmentthatpays I already tried Trello. My only concern is I was unable to create 2 sub columns for 1 column. For example for column Design with sub column In Progress and sub column Done
