How should you behave when scuba diving with sharks? The shark population has been decimated by the cruel shark finning industry. We lose over 200 million sharks a year to the fishing industry. To see a shark on a dive is a real treat and will, unfortunately, become a rear experience in the future.
If you are lucky enough to see a shark when you are diving it is an absolute privilege. But how should you behave? What should you do to ensure that you remain safe and gain the most from the experience?
Here are a few tips that I use every time I am lucky enough to encounter and photograph sharks up close. And I mean bumping into you up close!
