The Demarco bit made me realize how much a red tinted ghost curse would rock! Servants recently got obsidian bones for level 500, I think that the guardians are entitled to a reward between 100 and 1,000 now, too, and that would be perfect.

Great video, haven't seen sot lore videos for a while so it's refreshing. I'll watch this video fully with time, and meanwhile I'll make a comment which each small inconsistency i find. This video is well researched and put together so there shouldn't be many. - Just for starters, Flameheart would have arrived to the Sea of Thieves a lot before the Forsaken Alliance. Not only was Grace a child during the time Ramsey roamed the seas, but the box Jim finds belongs to Flameheart, whose soul would at that time already be bound to his own skull. - Not really a correction, more an add-on. Briggsy motivations to reach the Shores of Gold and explore the temples were posteriorly retcon during adventures, as she trying to find the secret history of the royal ancient family and its connection to the cure to the skeleton curse. - 56:41 Ancient Priest, not warrior

@@joseprodes6858 correct. Timeline wise, the ferryman sacrificed himself with poison somewhat after both the Forsaken Alliance and the Prologue of the Heart of Fire novel

pirates of the caribbean is in another world and if we went date wise, it does happen AFTER sea of thieves, but using the Golden Key jack went to another world and came here. The reason we know sea of thieves is earlier date wise is because it is intended to take place near the end of the golden era of piracy, which ended in 1730. My personal headcanon is that it takes place exactly 300 years before the current date, with the games launch in 2018 taking place in 1718. that's my personal thought though, the exact time isn't really important, but the dates of sea of thieves would be earlier than pirates of the caribbean, which is part of the reason why potc HAD to be another world from sea of thieves, since the timeline doesn't match up (the other being that the Grand Maritime Union doesn't exist in potc) Monkey island didn't have any conflicts with timeline or worldbuilding though, so that did take place in the same world as sea of thieves does, rather, the outside world. One detail that a lot of people miss, though, is that the Golden Key was given to davy jones by the Captain, implying that he used it to travel to the potc world and took jones' heart at the same time as when he gave him the Golden Key.

details about Flameheart that are a little off: - Flameheart had no respect for his father or his profession as a pirate - He raised his adopted son to be a scholar and stay away from piracy, though he told jr stories of his exploits which caused his son to follow him - The Captain is the one who cursed Flameheart to be a skeleton; he was obsessed with curses and cursed his whole crew, he was the owner of the chalice of resurrection and the creator of the cursed cannons on the Burning Blade as well as being the first known owner of the Golden Key; and becoming a skeleton is suggested (from piecing the interlude in the heart of fire novel with the tales from the sea of thieves book) to be the reason Flameheart stopped visiting home, which, I assume to be because he didn't want his son to see him like that. also the events of the Heart of Fire novel aren't here, which are extremely important to flameheart and duke's characters and one additional thing - the Forsaken Shores Alliance explored the devil's roar closely before the Forsaken Shores update and not so far back in the era of legends I know I'm only putting a bunch of nitpicks right now, so I'd like to add the disclaimer that I did very much enjoy the video and you guys did an amazing job.
