I'm Italian and this is one of the biggest mysteries of my country. I remember I was in Rome in 1983, around the time the Emanuela disappeared, I was just 7 years old but I do remember the city was covered with flyers and posters showing her picture, and asking to help find her. NOT A MYSTERY AT ALL! The Vatican Bank was laundering MAFIA DRUG MONEY. ARCHBISHOP PAUL MARCINCUS had misappropriated the bank assets and the Vatican refused to make amends. They thought if they kidnapped a Vatican officials child the Vatican would yield. IT didn't. Archbishiop Paul Marcincus used a female washed up drug addict to lure the girl into a Vatican limo (guards admitted) and she was never heard again. Marcincus was, of course, exonerated by the evil, decadent church of Rome, living our his days in sunny Arizona until his death of old age, whereby he was laid to rest in his family crept in Illinois with all papal blessings. Rome's hands are full of blood. Emanuela was only one of thousands.

This is a really old video but i just thought this to be Relevant. There was a case of a missing girl. She was missing for about 30 years. Around that time a skeleton was found. The M.E said the body was the remains of a pioneer from the late 1800 to early 1900s. They ended up sending the skeleton to a college to be used as a teaching tool. Only to later find out it was in fact the remains of the young girl that had gone missing. It took them many years to figure out this person they've been looking for they had actually had her remains for over 10 years. So unless they did a carbon test on the bones to tell how old they are they absolutely could be that girls remains. If i were the family id demand a dna test. Although it is the Vatican. They do what they want. Just saying its happened before.

Nothing spooky about finding an ossuary in an old European graveyard. It's basically just a mass grave for skeletal remains; they're all over the place in Europe and the Middle East. Building a tomb or funerary complex on top of one isn't unusual either. It is very interesting, perhaps even spooky though, that someone left a note directing attention to two empty graves that were believed occupied. I'd be pretty confident that whoever left the note knew that it had nothing to do with Emanuela, but that her case would bring about enough attention to unseal the tombs. This would seem to indicate they knew the remains were missing. Why, and what happened to them is the real spooky mystery here.

I think the cosmetics thing was a ruse to get her to stop and speak to a stranger. That she mentioned it and was troubled by it probably means it wasn't successful...but it seems it was useful as a red herring. TIL Avon isn't a pyramid scheme, it's a cult. Also, we're sorry Mario, but your princesses are in another graveyard. Great video, Mike. I had never heard of this before. I left the Catholic Church years ago, after becoming aware that some priests had landed themselves in a Mexican jail for frequenting a notorious brothel in Juarez and I was tasked to go fetch them. I was young and pretty at the time, and after bailing the priests out, I was very disturbed by several lewd comments they made about my body. Their audacity was jaw dropping. A few months ago the Santa Fe diocese released a list of 29 priests with verified accusations of sexual abusing children. Cue another jaw drop. We're not a big diocese, and to have 29 priests preying on children was almost unfathomable. Of course everyone on the list, save two were dead. Of the two still living priests, one was completely ravaged by Alzheimer's and unable to be taken to task for his improprieties and the other is missing and presumed dead. That all seemed WAY too convenient for my taste.

@archona54 Ah, thank you, as I was a bailbondsman I was pretty used to it, and I have heard, much, much worse. It was only really shocking because thate were supposed "men of God." One of my middle son's is actually attending seminary to become a Catholic priest, but is considering moving to the Episcopal Church because of all this crap. I would definitely like to see that, but in the end that's his decision.

Multi level marketing is always a scam. Stop trying to get rich quick, expand your marketable skills, increase earnings potential, learn to spend less than you earn, have a 6 month emergency fund in cash, and invest in a low cost index fund. In 20 years you will finally be wealthy

Interesting. Can you give a specific or two as to why you believe this? I am not a make-up kind of person so never heard this before. I was surprised Mike knew of avon, having no idea it was a thing apparently internationally.

@@robingarrett3171 avon is a multi level marketing company, they openly say this, and back in the day it was completely legit. as time passed and makeup became main stream, avons prrimary source of inccome became recruiting others into a down line *not* selling product, which is a pyramid scheme and illegal in the US.

@@ImperfectionGuaranteedgreetings. Well in that case do provide us with the Facts. This video is about the sad disappearance of a 15-year-old, something that happens every every single minute of the day across the world unfortunately, but because in this case the 15-year-old child's father "happened" to work in the Vatican the actual disappearance becomes far, far secondary to the anti-Catholic mob's tirades, thereby turning the presentation into something else totally different - now that is a FACT. Peace.

Allan Lindsay You reply to every single comment with your stupid greetings and keep trying to clean up the Vatican’s reputation. Just drop it. I’m italian, literally everyone here knows the Vatican is shady. They move priests who rape children to protect them instead of admitting they did an awful thing and putting them in jail. Italy would be a much better place without the Vatican fucking everything up.

I really appreciate you covering cases from non-english speaking countries. I wish it happened more often on true crime channels but I do realize that the language barrier can be a problem. I'm italian and was born just a few months before Emanuela's disappearance, so I've been hearing about her my entire life, and you're right, there is some kind of obsession with her among the people... mostly because we know the Vatican knows.

I remember when they found the bodies of newborn babies, nuns, and children in the walls. Apparently during medieval times it was common practice to wall up Nuns and Children together as part of some kinda fasting prayer. The Nuns were also getting pregnant and sealing up the newborns so nobody would know…..Humanity is so wicked and evil it’s just crazy….I would bet anything she is buried in a wall or foundation somewhere in The Church…we still don’t fully know what really goes on there nor all the hidden tunnels and chambers…
