I admit I have never been on this since it was The Living Seas, though DESPITE the fact I am against the over-cartoon-ification of Epcot ... I have to say this looks really good ... doesn't mean I don't miss the Living Seas (EVERYTHING .. not just the ride) ... but this looks good .... unlike some of the other renovations of things in Epcot over the past few years

See I never got to experience the living seas and wish I did but from what I’ve read about the pavilion a whimsical dark ride through the sea was part of the original plan for the pavilion. And this one is great. Imo the right way to introduce an IP to a pavilion
