This is insanely huge! Turrets respawning, new monsters, new runes! As a player from early on, this will probably be the biggest upheaval of how the game is played in so many different ways ever. Im pretty pumped to learn more.

spicing up the game in preparation for deadlock's release, quite possibly. It has a good lane and upgrade system, and I've noticed it's much easier to get moba players to try FPS games than it is vice versa.

So hype for this. I have been wanting them to do region-themed maps for such a long time now, and I love that they're doing it as part of the splits/seasons, but I would equally love to see them straight up add map choice to the queuing process. A simple veto option would do it. I would go a step further and limit the dragons that can spawn on each map to 3, favoring specific types for each region. For example, Noxus would have Infernal, Mountain, and a third unique-to-Noxus one. I don't wanna see an Ocean drake on my Noxus map. Thematically incongruent.

Yeah, the Nexus Turret change is probably the best actual change for comeback mechanics in the game. Not coinflipping a game off a single shutdown, or getting free gold off an Obj even when it doesn't make sense, just nice, clean, and simple, if they can't close the game out now, you still have a chance.

Actually kind of hype. It will totally shake things up. I'm a bit nervous about 3 seasons being crunched into this next year but time will tell how it goes. I felt I was finally getting comfortable on this current iteration. I'm actually glad they kept the map mirror the same for this new year.

It's nice to have changes to the game, but every 3 months is so bad. They need to stay for a year, giving players a chance to get used to the game, and for Riot to balance everything out over time.

I think it looks concerning that we"re getting huge changes like these on a SEMI-REGULAR BASIS, the game will never completely be figured out, sinc there will always be something new and unknown so the games will get a lot messier over time. This is just my vision but lemme know if you disagree

Pros will always figure out the game fast. Thats their job. So pro scene, im not worried about at all. its the casual ranked player that might be having issues with this. But i think for the overall casual playerbase, this is amazing.

That's literally how game always was. New patch every 2 weeks. And back in the day Riot also released a new champ every 2/4 weeks. It's just that changes are actually exciting now. Maybe it's a hot take but fun > fair and excitement > competitive integrity.

I am really scared of this new noxus themed season. they have already ruined blackrose by making a random 20-30 years old character manage to trick the utimate trickster (leblanc), who is over a millennium years old mage-entity, who is in the council of noxus (trifarix), assumed faceless of the principle of guile, yet she got tricked so easily by someone who is practically a baby from her perspective, couldn't even deal with a regular human character like ambessa on her own for some weird reason... complete character assassination of leblanc. then there is viktor, completely killed the character, that is not viktor, same with warwick. god I hope the noxus vgu they're talking about is not riven, I don't want them to ruin riven as well. I've always wanted riven update but seeing how they're completely ruining characters, I hope riven stays the same. Clearly old writers are not working in the company anymore because it is going downhill pretty fast. sad to see.
