Christian Haynes has been a major disappointment. Between him and Olu, we need to take a real look at how we scout OL.

Okay. So I do believe Bradford has settled in for the most part. 3/4 games he played well. Giving up a sack to Sexy Dexy is not bad. However, I think PFFs grades on Haynes are more than a fucking joke. You can’t tell me that Atlanta game adds up because I did the math, they knocked Haynes down 33 points because of the one false start penalty. Meanwhile, Jerrell also had a false start penalty and they knocked him down 3 points. And again, look at Buffalo. He allows one pressure on 8 passing plays and gets a 12 pass blocking grade?!? Anyone with elementary critical thinking skills can tell this doesn’t make sense. However, the joke that is PFF aside, i don’t think the plan was ever for Haynes to be our RG. Bradford just played so bad at the beginning of the season that we were forced to rotate snaps. I think the plan is that we develop him at LG, and then potentially start him there next season. When we drafted him this is what I wanted because this can be steps towards having a long term O line that can play together for multiple seasons. I think going forward the FO and coaching staff want Cross-Haynes-Williams-Bradford-Lucas. So hey, if Bradford is playing better and getting to a high level that can only mean good things for us in the future.

I ended my sub to PFF... their ratings and content for the price they charge are a bunch of BS.
@brianmyers44448 сағат бұрын
Very good ….agree for the most part, especially that PFF is a joke….your proposed OL would be good….just seems hard to think Haynes can transition quickly to LG with little play there this year and every start at RG in college….

@ I still use them but not for the grades. Easiest way for me to find a lot of important stats that sometimes are hard to find. Plus detailed snap counts by D line alignment, rushing direction, passing chart, WR vs Cb matchups, etc… But no, the grades I consider useless unless it backs up the stats and eye test. But I’m willing to pay the connivence fee to have easy access to what I mentioned above

@Malachi.B12 сағат бұрын
I disagree, I feel DK is productive every single year as a seahawk, and he is one of the motors of our offense, you saw it in the bills game in assuming, we couldn’t get anything going and I feel DK’s absence is a big part of that, without him we lack speed in our wide receiver room and the air attack is impacted drastically. For Geno he is great bang for buck and imo he is a top 10 quarterback I don’t believe many other quarterbacks could succeed greatly behind the current Seahawks o Line he’s shown that he is clutch at the end of the game and can carry the team (for example the lions game last year) however you can’t expect him to carry this team week in and week out when we have a league worst OL, and defense.
