What type of eBay store do you have in addition to having to pay for this software you must have to pay eBay a decent amount yes? To post that many cards what’s the best store an anchor ?

Yeah, I had an anchor store. Since switching to lots I downgraded… can’t remember what level but it’s either the first or second.

Does it recognize if you happened to scan and list that same card previously? That way you don’t create a duplicate ebay listing.

Yeah, it will give you a warning but I ignore it because eBay will show still show multiple listings of mine for the same card.

Yeah Kronocard is way better than CDP if you’re selling a lot of cards. Priced similarly. I built some software that compliments Kronocard too and makes it even better (like adding automated lot listings). The free eBay AI listing tool is better than CDP as another alternative too.

Kronocard has an objectively better AI with more sets included in the training. The design of Kronocard also makes it faster to do what you need to do to review the AI and push listings live. Both cost pretty much the same, but Kronocard can be way cheaper if you have the tech skills to self-host your images and manipulate the export data. I pay them less than $500/year for unlimited listings with the way that I use it.

If you’re listing cards that are all from the same set, you can use eBay’s bulk listing tool and create a template with all of the required item specifics and the set-specific item specifics. Then you can write the titles but keep the card number and player name blank in the title template. Scan the cards, then upload the front/backs in the bulk listing tool and type in the card number and player name. Then repeat. Hard to explain in text but hopefully this helps.

I use eBay Standard Envelope for almost everything. #10 self seal envelopes (you can get boxes of 500 from BJs/Costco for $15-20, cheapest I’ve found even from distributors lol) and I also include a thank you note printed on normal paper with the receipt printed on the back of it

Thanks for the vid. Does the EPSON V600 Flatbed Scanner auto crop with borders when scanning say 4 cards at a time? How about auto straightening?

Happy to help! The V600 doesn’t do it on its own but with Kronocard it will crop and straighten the scans automatically. You have to scan the fronts then flip the cards and scan the backs so it takes a bit longer than the ADF scanners (like Epson DS-510) but it’s worth it for those higher end cards and slabs. Can do 8 raw cards at a time with it.

Yeah. It can do TCG too but the AI isn’t very good at those cards last time I tried it ~1 year ago. You can do TCG and manually enter the card info though but imo you’d be better off just selling on TCG Player with their tools.

Thanks for this. I got kronocard as well as a scanner to use with it and have been struggling with some things. I was really hoping for a larger community of users to discuss it all with but have been a bit disappointed, so seeing someone else's use of it helps. Would love to chat with someone doing it too if you ever have the itme. I see that you also have videos on excel stuff by you, and that's something I've wanted to get an undersstanding of but now am wondering, is that something you still do now tht you have this?

No, unfortunately they don’t let you integrate with your shipping policies so what I do is once the listings are live I bulk edit them (up to 2000 at a time) and change the policy to my ESE policy.

@@_Babbs I just have the shipping set to free in Kronocard and the Kronocard policies have generic names so it’s easy to filter active listing by the generic shipping policy name and then do the bulk edit

Those A B C grades... is that for you, or... I mean it doesnt have any affect on the ebay listing does it? Also, I love hearing you appreciating this era of footbal that I gre up with and talkin about some you've never seen before, especially the snow shots. I have a special collection of cards that is just winter shots that I love.

The A B C grades are user-defined in Kronocard. Will be doing a video on all these different settings eventually. You can fill in a description for each condition and Kronocard will include it in the listing

There is a setting to set your pricing for shipping in Kronocard. I forget offhand where it is. What I did when I was using the eBay Connector was I would post all my cards and then filter my active listings (through the eBay site on my desktop) by the Kronocard created shipping policy and then bulk edit them to set it to use my own shipping policy. They’re working on integrating letting us use our own premade shipping policy.

At what plan level on krono can you export to a csv file or is it in the free in the ebay50?

It’s a separate plan, you could ditch the connector altogether and just use the export add on instead. I think it’s like $15-20/mo. Link is in the description.

Paul, I'm new to selling cards in bulk. Can you tell me quickly what the process is? Do I scan them first? Or do I use Krono first? I'm sure I'll figure it out but when it comes to technology, I'm not the most savvy.

If you want to use Kronocard, you can scan the cards in using their software, then have AI I’ll in the data, then do the final check/pricing/listings. There is a way to list singles quickly with just an ADF scanner but it only works for cards all from the same set and maxes out at about 100-150ish listings per hour. I’m gunna do a video on that some day

I love kronocard, but my only issue is the connector plans, i have the 20 dollar plan because that’s the only one that makes sense for me right now, but only having 1000 available ebay listings is a pain. Especially when I have a couple thousand laying in wait

If you don’t mind doing a little Excel work (or automating that work with a macro) then you could get the export feature instead of the connector. There’s no limit with the export so you can do as much as you want in Kronocard and then manually upload the Excel files via the Reports tab. You’d just need to setup image hosting for the image files. I’d recommend registering a domain and using a Digital Ocean droplet so that you can control the file names of the images and make the process much faster and easier. Should I do a video on this? 🤔

@@kingwoodster1674 EPSON DS-510 for an ADF is the best budget option (it was my first scanner) for paper cards. Fujitsu makes some really nice ones too. For a flatbed to use on Chrome/Prizm cards, the EPSON V600 is best. There are links to both in the description. Thanks for subbing and commenting!

Card dealer pro recognizes all this vintage cards honestly I only edit about 5-8 out of 100+ cards. It recognizes 95% of the vintage cards. Just a heads up.

Krono typically does around the same. Card Dealer Pro isn’t a bad alternative but it seems so painfully slow to use when I see guys on KZbin using it versus how I use Krono.
