Now i notice something about Hermes. He is the only God besides Budha and Hercules that actually has some respect to humanity's fighters. Everytime he explains something, its always in the neutral zone. And also, in the manga he is the only god that actually making a requiem melody for those who loses wether its human or god. Now watching this, i really hope that him and Brunhilde actually teaming up with humanity.

To be honest, I don’t know if any other champions could have beaten Heracles. By a wide margin, Heracles is the best suited to fighting humans because he doesn’t underestimate them. At this point, any opponents he faced would have been destroyed. Considering how many volundr he destroys in this fight, it’s easy to believe he would have done the same to any of the others brought in. This really was the only option humanity had if they wanted to win, even if humanity didn’t want it.

From what we've seen, Adam doesn't seem like the type of person to resort to trickery and would most likely just fight Herc head on, that's also the main theme of the fight, that humanity's cunningness were superior to the gods. But, as I said before, we will never know since they are both dead

i think Brunhilde and Hermes r in a relationship or smth because Brunhilde used to kneel for every god she sees including Heraclues who was her friend ... but in this scene she didnt kneel for hermes and she was too close to him . + Brunhilde knows alot of stories and informations about the gods like (how poseidon killed adamas) so it has to be hermes who told her about all of that since he was the only one who witnessed it.

Anime pnly watcher here, so pls don't try to spoil So currently we see Buddhism with buddha, hindu with shiva as there leader, norse gods and greek gods Buddha doesnt want to erase humans Shiva also seems to be maybe on the human side, because he said after his fight humans are really amazing The greek gods are split. I think hermes and zeus dont wanna destroy humans, tho zeus is an extreme sore loser and has to even tho he really doesnt want to anymore. The other gods idk, but i dont think they really care for humans. The norse gods definitly want to erase humanity. I think this might end with humans winning and some gods still wanting to destroy them, so it ends up being a fight between the gods with one side being for humanitys survival (Buddha, probably shiva, etc.) And one wanting to end humanity (odin, probably ares, etc.) One think weird is, brunhilde definitly seems to have something else in mind besides saving humanity. I still dont know if she is a protagonist or an antagonist in disguise

My thing with this is - They should of kept him Jack. This man personified the mystery of the killer. How do we truly know what happened? We don't. And if we ever did face gods, I personally wouldn't want a serial killer. Yes they ruthless, but they aren't direct fighter. They manipulate the weak to get their way, the stronger the person the longer the kill can take due to manipulation tactics. Wouldn't bring Tesla either, nor two of the shinsengumi. I would of brought Okita, and probably one of the four legendary man slayers Okita fought against.

Personally bringing out Jack was a good choice. If you've noticed the pattern, out powering the gods lead to defeat. Lubu, Adam, and Raiden has showcased this. The first winner was Sasaki, it was a great show of skill and his ability. Next was Jack, with his cunning wit and deception. They truly can't beat the gods in a fair fight, the peak human(Adam) couldn't even beat one of the peak gods(Zeus).

I havent watched enough ROR, but this tournament makes 0 sense with gods vs humanity. Gods need to be worshiped for their power to work. (Otherwise why did they ever have humans praise them and build temples? If you're a being that far above, you dont expect ants to do things for you - unless its necessity) Also IRL thats how allah works and recently in videogames such as GOW, zeus and odin both were dependant on worship. Could be that they completely ignored the "rules" and made other ones, but even then i find it absolutely preposterous how theres less than 5 gods on humanities side

So far in the setting gods don't need worship, heck the god that created Adam wasn't shown. Humans simply worship them, for no stated reason the gods teach humans morals, skills, bless them etc. and if they impress they let them join the heave like with Budda and Hercules , the reason they stated in destroying humans as they see them as a failure of a species with aphrodite concern on environmental destruction.
