2021 taught me to self invest in myself. Take risks and not be afraid. Didn't have no New Year Resoultions for 2021. It was the Year of self love for me overall. Continued therapy, started my podcast in April of 2021 called "Simply Nickie Podcast" on all podcasting platforms. It has skyrocketed ever since. That has been the highlight of my 2021. My 2022 main focus is being more intentional with my life. Not accepting the bare minimum no more. If it's not 50/50 reciprocal then I don't want it . Just get tired of always giving a 100 and getting less in return. Cause you can always tell if someone actually care about you based off their actions and not just their words. We just chose to ignore the signs because we want to believe they are good people. No there are too many red flags there we just have to stop and see it for what it is or we'll always be disappointed because we expect an "US" from "Them" and that's just not possible.

I feel A lot like you. Single mom..always seems there s more tasks than time. I know organizing is key, yet so many that are in the Now zone..are all quite Not orderly. Telling anyone I ll do 4 things, timing, ( I can!) there seems to be a Sudden need for me to handle/ do what they could try to do. I encourage thinking Their own how's, then get angry attitudes. ITS not all on me. I know what I know, have to fulfill, redeem the hrs( they go fast!). The sidelines do appear as though I shd not go do me. In the purpose of teaching, I show I must work, formulate how I ll do things. YES, because it's Put in me by God. Feels like my time is Not seen as As valuable. God says steward my mind, resources. Covid caused hiccups re Work. Supported son, he s barely doing anything and won't budge. I walk, meet people, know it's vital I put myself in discomfort- tests my character! Now I ve got to Find a new career. God says don't be anxious, trust he will lead me to where I can serve. Am thankful for strength though am quite alone. New days are ahead. I don't have anything to hide, healed. Inconsistent earning is not what I want. Worked but cdnt save for more education. NEED challenges to undertake..seeking and knocking. Many are all tucked away..Hmm. Who am I supposed to meet? Gonna take a step, did it before with prayer! Timed out amazing, high pay work suddenly happened bc I did a course. COOL! OTHERS must know to balance their time..I can't carry their direction. SELF lists and goals..yes I can start.One step and things start. I know abt dying to self. Makes compassion higher..will show up and ppl will know I'm more than I appear to be. I ll go steady, leave the non doers and Do it with faith. I say No to non beneficial activities, to non reciprocating minds. BALANCE is wise, I know nasty behaviours are just trying to make me Think I can't be significant. Well they don't matter in the long term. I'm gearing up, I am valuable and will put it into right growth. God's for me. I just keep balanced, the small tactics...yeah I won't dwell on those much. Others verify I do well..it can't be me saying In pride. U are right Stormy. Serve for Higher values..things we can't touch. Isnt abt the visible things really!! Absolutely, amazing sermon. I’m only 35 and I’ve been on this journey for a while now. Self-Love, Peace, Humility is not an easy feat. It takes a lot of work. I mean a lot. Family, Friends, and some other areas definitely suffer from neglect. When you have a mission and a purpose, when you ignore that inner work. Those things don’t work out and will suffer anyway. Yup, “Die to Self,” is EGO Death. Thank you , Stormy.
