thanks for sharing, definitely worth trying although here in London yellow corn is more popular, I'll have to look for the white variety
@remremdfoodie8 күн бұрын
You can definitely use yellow. It’s won’t affect the taste. It’ll only change the colour

Thanks ma, can I use tuwo flour
@remremdfoodie8 күн бұрын
That won’t give you the same taste since tuwo is not fermented to achieve that tangy taste of Kokoro egba. But if you don’t mind that you won’t get the taste , you can use it

Thanks for sharing ma'am, but you didnot add sugar , please ma can yam pounder blender grand the corn?
@remremdfoodie3 ай бұрын
Kokoro egba doesn’t include sugar. Yam pounder can’t grind corn. You need a good blender or use a commercial grinding machine

So let me get it. This one is corn flour, and not corn meal right? Because it looks like they are different
@remremdfoodie2 ай бұрын
@@cynthiaugwoh7916 aren’t they the same? Ok, I think you’re referring to the very powdery flour (mostly used for pastries) when you say corn flour. This is just whole corn grinded into powder
@remremdfoodie2 ай бұрын
@@cynthiaugwoh7916 so I guess corn meal or corn flour can pass when referring to it
@cynthiaugwoh79162 ай бұрын
@remremdfoodie Yes, l was referring to the powdery one for cooking or baking. They call it corn flour, is that what you used? I checked Google and saw they are different. I Would like to know. Thank you
