Some really quality trout there. Are you fishing any kind of structure like a drop off or is it just a flat?

Yes sir thank you. That was a very good day on the water. So there it was a grass flat anywhere from 3’ to 4’ that we were wading with pole mixed in there. As you moved away from the shoreline with had a gradual drop off.

Do you primarily use the lil John xl or the regular lil John?

I mainly throw the regular Lil John but I have at times thrown the XL. I have confidence in both size baits, and when out fishing I let the fish dictate to me what size profile they are wanting. As of lately the regular Lil John has been the one go to.

Nice! I like the different perspectives of the different anglers! You guys had a successful wade in the water! Love those LIL Johns & XLs! How did Y'All do in the tourny? Did you have any luck with that K Wiggler 'Fight To Fish' ball tail? I got 2 packs for the cause! Haven't tried them yet. I have fished a few tournies for Surveyors in the Aransas Pass area. The Texas State Professional Surveyors Alamo Chapter (out of S.A.) annual tourny.

Thanks brotha I really appreciate it! Yea I do my best to try and get everyone hooked up on a GoPro, like you mentioned to get the different perspectives of everyone with me. You never know when that next great catch might come from. Yea me too, it's a must throw for me on any fishing trip for sure. So this year we didn't weigh in because on tournament day we only had trout. We could buy a keeper Redfish lol, but that's how it goes some times. We actually took 2nd last year in it and we were hoping we would get lucky and try for 1st. So far I have only caught some trout on the Fight To Fish but I will throw it from time to time. I have confidence in the ball tail, I really enjoy throwing that bait but working on this new color but not much luck. In some up coming videos I've been throwing their ball tail jr and have had really good success with it. If you haven't go grab a few packs and try them out! The Plum Blue MF/Chartreuse has been working for me. Oh nice man that's awesome any luck in those tournaments? I appreciate the views on the videos brotha!
