Why would you admire somebody that darts animals for research, it's not right in my opinion why can't people just let everything be as it was meant to. I hate this profession, we meddle to much where we are not supposed to all life forms we created and serves purpose and the more we meddle where we not supposed to be we change the way the world and the cycle of life works ,nature in all its beauty we destroy along with ourselves because we always want more, and this type of shit is why are running out of food in the world cause we don't allow nature to be nature. And by that we are killing the earth. It doesn't take a university grad to figure out and see how we fucked up the world thus far. Soon we will be the ones shit like this is going to be happening and then I wonder who is going to admire it

That's not so difficult .....Brown heyenas ,unlike their spotted relatives are very rare.... the spotted heyenas almost having become a pest due to them not being of any interest to poachers... as a result they make life a misery for other more rare carnivores.....
@maverick2560
@maverick2560 4 жыл бұрын
@@PAULLONDEN Holy shit they're not a "pest" because people aren't hunting them for sport. Humans are the initial problem in the first place, overpopulating and encroaching on their space. Nature balances itself, NOT people. Unless people caused the issue, there is no reason to intervene. Spotted hyenas who become issues near human settlements are already being killed, but brown hyenas are still being hunted for sport and trophies. Ban that instead of trying to cause more damage.

Don't let those media depictions fool u: hyenas are intelligent, caring and surprisingly supportive animals that center their entire lives around family. They're not malicious and skulking scavengers that can't hunt, nor are they evil villains with maniacal laughter and black hearts. They're living breathing beings like us that have a place on this planet as much as any animal, including us.

It doesn't really hunt and its food is generally already dead. This is even more true for the striped hyena which also eats vegetable matter such as fruit, and rummages in human waste in villages. The aardwolf again eats mainly termites which also tend not to go too far from their structures.

Ironic they're closer to cats than dogs, even more ironic is how hyenas and lions have been mortal enemies with big cats, especially lions for hundreds of thousands of years.

Considering 85% of the vid is the animals, I'd think it's about the animals...... considering he's left civilization behind and lives in a little tent in the wilderness with just an atv, I'd venture it's about the animals.....

@@scottywilliams1061 You're most likely right! I think my boredom on these videos was more to do with the documentary itself rather than on the hyena. To much footage of humans than the hyena
