Maybe, but originally, it is about a FRENCH fairy tale by Charles Perrault, Cinderella is there only the translation. It is her nickname: she sits down in the ashes and wears rags... ashes (= CENDRes) + rags (= haILLONs) => CENDRILLON

***** : Since you don't consider the French version of Cinderella (Cendrillon) to be overly feminine -- it's slightly ironic that the English version of Cinderella is made feminine because it sounds French ("ella"). "Cendrillon" sounds feminine when spoken with a French accent. Spoken with an English accent shifts the vowels and pronounces the 'n' consonants that are suppose to be silent. And the 'r' would be far too rhotic. Not that I have anything against accents. I often find them cute, actually.

when i first watched it i thought it was a double! then as it started to play frame by frame with description (knowing the costumes) i could see it was an overdressing! "cinderella rags" dress isnt normally that full and her hair isnt that high!! but to the unknowing eye its not obvious!! its still amazing though! the speed at which the girl changes, even down to the collar!! the japonese think of everything!!!!

Does the technician have a string so he could pull the dress in? Because how could he reach the dress? Unless she's standing really near it. I just can't get over how fast she can rip that velcro without no one to help pull it also. Unless there's someone who can explain it. I dunno if it's me but the hole that her dress gets pulled in looks farther than her, so I have no idea if they used a string to help pull it?

@MollieSunshine I actually think it makes it more amazing and I want to give the Imagineers (or whoever came up with this) a standing O. But why watch if you didn't want to know? I debated not watching for a couple minutes for the same reason, but figured it was worth it to find out. And since I still can figure out how she gets the necklace on not all the mystery is gone. And I find the entire process magical & amazing even knowing how!!!!
