Arguably the most important factor that has led to my channel's growth on KZbin is my consistency. I have not missed an episode review in YEARS, and I wasn't going to let that streak end just yet! I have been super, super busy IRL over the past few weeks, so I apologize for the delay in getting this video posted. But hey, you watched anyways, so thank you!!!

This series is very plot-driven,but now the plot has expanded and I'm very excited to see what comes next. I now I might be overrating, but this is my second 10/10 episode of pokemon horizons. This episode was stacked and cracked! Like my voice,after all the events that happened in this episode, is legit gone.

The mystery of the six heros and Lucius has me engaged. It's different from Ash's adventures when he Battle gyms and head to the league. Totally enjoy this. I also believe one of the heroes is a hawlucha.

I like that Hawlucha guess. I am going to be interested to see if all of these heroes end up being as friendly as Arboliva turned out to be. Will Liko and Roy manage to befriend all of them, or will they have to actually defeat one in battle? I could totally see in epic raid battle episode in the future where The Rising Volt Tacklers work together to take down one of the heroes

I actually like that they only have one Pokémon each, I feel like it's become expected that the main characters catch a lot of Pokémon, but idk I don't mind it. Like if Roy catches this Wattrel, that is going to set it apart from any other early route bird Pokémon that Ash has ever caught?

@@EliteTrainerMark doesn’t sound like what an Elite Trainer would say. An Elite Trainer wants to catch and battle all sorts of Pokémon!! Lol jk. It’s bittersweet if you ask me. Is it a change of pace? Yes, but I don’t like slow lol. From a game continuity standpoint, catching Wattrel would be different than any bird Pokémon Ash has caught because I remember seeing them around level 18-22 I think 🤔🧐 whereas all other regions it’s the first Pokémon you get next to rodent type Pokémon around level 2-7. Which is pretty impressive considering Fuecoco hasn’t evolved yet. Especially considering Fuecoco’s move set. Roy could bet on RNG to just throw a pokeball, but technically stomping tantrum would make a good move to weaken Wattrel considering its typing of flying electric ⚡️ mmhmm mmhmm 😎

Considering that there are 9 regions and both Oliva and Rayquaza are from diferent regions, also taking in the fact that the ancient hero traveled across the world and befriended the 6 heroes on his travels, I would say that they are from different regions. that also opens the question: which of the regions? Paldea and Hoen are sure, which leaves 7 other regions. I would say that we could cross of Alola cause ancient Alola is a island state and not easy to reach. also there isn´t so many places these ancient elite Pokemon could hide. Johto and Kanto could easily be seen as one region bc. of their close proximity. with Kanto being more fitting for it´s importance as root of the series. Which means we have too look for the missing Heroes in Kanto (Gallopa or Arcanine), Sinnoh, Galar and Unova.

one of the ancient pokemon looked like a stoutland to me, (well dog pokemon, but most like stoutland of the dog pokemons.) but i wonder if one of the pokemon to the ancient hero would be a hisuian pokemon

Been a while, huh? Now this episode really got me excited for what will be next. I assume we'll see four distinct arcs going in the near future, one for each of the Ancient Adventurer's pokemon. Though I'm also very curious to see how the plot of The Explorers and Amethio develops. Nice review as usual!

Ludlow & Quagsire was an unexpected pairing but I think it meshes well. And it looks like Spinel is going to be one of those condescending evil "beautiful mind" antagonist type of characters. His roster though was interesting with Beheeyem, Magneton, & Umbreon (albeit that trashes my theory that like Amethio & Cerluedge's pairing has to do with gemcolor reference; depending what main color a spinel gem is). Now it's time to theorize what the other 4 Six Hero illustration pokemon are now that we know Arboliva & Rayquaza belonged to ancient adventurer Lucius (in which I'd like to think is maybe is Lucca (and Liko's grandma) & Liko's ancestor)

There has definitely got to be something going on with Lucius's lineage and how Liko is connected. So far, the names Liko, Lucca, and Lucius all sound similar enough. If Liko's grandmother ends up having a similar name, I think that theory is nailed on

I doubt that Friede was Luka´s student. Just based on design, they seem to be around the same age and are probably ex-colleages. To me that line she said just sounds as something she probably said to him in the past when he decided to travel the world instead of being a typical pokemon professor.

That new member of the explorers thinks himself so high. Even if he investigates, he can't find it all just like that. This one is a villain that really piss me off because he thinks "I will succeed because I watched you from the shadows". i say he's going to find a surprise because you can't make a plan out of watching your enemy just a little.

I bet if Ash was still in the show and was with Friede and Lucca, He would probably disagree with her. I can just picture Ash and Lucca exchanging words Ash: And what about your philosophy as a parent? Lucca: Excuse Me?! Friede: Ash! Ash: You may think your doing what's best for Liko, but your not. Trust me. I know. My dad did the very same thing with me when I was her age, and I resented him for it. I didn't wanted to feel like I didn't had his support or his attention by just not coming to see me anywhere cheering me on. Everytime I come home after every region I explored, I've always hoped that he would be in the living room with my Mom waiting for me so I could tell him stories from my journey just as he use to tell about stories about his. The last time I saw him was my 10th birthday, a week before I got my Pikachu from Professor Oak. That was 5 years ago. After 4 years of coming home just wanting to see him, I just gave up. I became a Pokemon trainer because of him for his love for Pokemon. I felt hurt. After all I've been through and everything I've done trying to be like him and his idea of letting me choose my own path made me felt he didn't even notice. It took my own mother to get him come home to talk to me, and if that's what it takes to get him to see me then I had nothing to say to him except on how much he hurt me for all those years I never got to see him. So I told him I won't accept any apologies from him, until he's understood how much made me felt. I haven't been at home since. That was a year ago. Lucca in shock fearing that it could happen with her and Liko.: I'm so sorry. Ash: Lucca, I'm not asking or demanding, I am begging you; Don't make the same mistake my dad did. It's not worth gambling your relationship with your daughter. Come home every time Liko does just so she can see you just to tell you and Alex stories of her journey and, go out and see her every now and then just to do all kinds of fun things you two use to do. (Lucca remembering fun moments with Liko when she was little) Just let her know that it is her own path to choose but you and Alex would support her every step of the way and that you love her very much. Lucca: You've given a lot to think about Ash.Thank you. May I offer you some advice too? Ash looks directly at Lucca Lucca: If you don't fix things with your Dad before it's too late, You'll regret it for the rest of your life. Ash: That's his choice that he has to live with. Friede: She's right. Ash turns to Friede Friede: You have to let it go, Ash. I'm sorry you felt hurt by his choices, I really am. But, your father made these choices not just for your path to learn how to follow it on your own, but for all the choices he made that put a target on his back from all the enemies he made, especially Team Rocket. Ash: And my friends and I are the ones who ended up defeating them all in battle. Not him. Friede: Yeah, he clearly didn't put how powerful you are into a factor. Ash: And that's just another notch of resentment from me to him. Lucca: There must be one fond memory you had with your father that might be a start on a path to forgiveness for you both. Ash smirked with joy: When I was little, I told some other kids about my dream to be a Pokemon Master and they laughed at me. But my Dad told me something I never forgot; The map to your dream is inside yourself. If you give up, your dreams never gonna come true. Being on this journey with my Pikachu made me start to get what he meant that I already achieved the dream from day one by achieving the relationship between me and Pokemon. That's why the one thing that hasn't change between us is how much we both love Pokemon. Friede: Then perhaps you start there. Lucca smiling with glee: You and Liko are a lot like than you realize. (Ash looks at Lucca out of curiosity) She loves pokemon just as much as you do, and you would make a great mentor to her. With you and your crew, I know my daughter is in good hands. But I will take your advice seriously just as you promise you'll do the same with the advice I gave you. Ash remembering all the fun memories he had with his Dad and smiled: I will.
