so good, so methodical, thanks a lot and keep it up! (important: tumbao preceeds the change of harmony on beat 4 of each second bar. This is why dancers get confused sometimes, especially when clave rhythm is played along)

I really like this salsa tutorial. Especially like seeing you start to improvise off the progression. The bass is tricky. I found it easier to not count after practicing the rhythm of tumbao as | 3 3 5 3 5 3 5 3 5 ... | Tapping the accent of ONE 2 3 ONE 2 3, ONE 2 3 4 5, ONE 2 3, ONE 2 3 4 5, ONE 2 3, etc. Playing a note on the ONE of each group 3 or 5. Its also good to practice tapping your foot once every four beats while doing the above. Thank you for another good salsa video!

I put 20 minutes into it. Walla, a surprisingly good tutorial man! Need another hour or two to complete and sync the hands. Definitely for people who already play some piano. Those octaves in the right hand are tough. What I would like to learn is how do you sync up the tumbao/montuno with a salsa clave beat?
