Vincent Smith Jr. I guess you could make that case when he first used the demon power to fight ladros. But I chalk that up to his willpower(managing to use the demon power without getting possessed).that’s up for debate then. When it came to other fights though, he couldn’t win those unless he had the help of his friends. Even then it wasn’t always a win. In the fight with the black bulls vs vetto, vetto broke a lot of Astas bones. Vanessa had to use her strings to help asta move around, and when vetto increased his speed, finral would teleport Asta to throw vetto off and counter him. In a last ditch effort to kill them vetto tried to pull a vegeta. It took yami to put an end to that. During the royal knights selection exam, when Asta fought langris, talk no jutsu had no effect. So Asta straight one shot the man using his “black Asta” form. I can’t 100% confirm that Asta doesn’t talk no jutsu his way out of everything because I don’t read the manga or light novels. But as the anime has shown, taking just doesn’t work. It doesn’t make him stronger either, he’s just op in a world where everything centers around magic.

So long story short, from everything that I have comprehended, he can't use talk no jutsu properly like naruto because if we were to say Talk Magic instead of Talk no Jutsu, Asta can't use it PERIOD because he has no magic. So to cover up for that he uses his otherworldly ability, Anti-Magic, and the Naruto's (or Kingdom Hearts) "My friends are my power" clichè to overcome his enemies.... So am I right or am I wrong.

Vincent Smith Jr. I thought the whole my friends are my power thing came from fairy tail, learn something new everyday. Anyways if we’re talkin eye of the midnight sun. The three strong ones (vetto, Fana, other dude) were under the dark elf spell. No amount of talk no magic would make them change. After the spell was broken Fana changed back herself and couldn’t recall anything that had happened when she was under the spell. Vetto is dead so can’t say much about that one and the newest episode for the other dude isn’t out yet so no comment on that. Also langris is still unconscious as well. Honestly this feels useless, it’s like you’re determined to put these guys under a category or something and undermine the series. Why is talk no jutsu important? Naruto is one of the few shounen protagonist that really does this, Ichigo does this too honestly. Yes asta does gives his speech but he still has to get shit done. There are enemies who end up going the right path in black clover but it’s really only after they get their faces kicked in. Same can be said about bleach, I doubt the soul society would listen to ichigo if he was weak, seen plenty of that early on. Can’t put it under my friends are my power either. Asta isn’t getting automatic power boosts from his friends just being there or some speech about friendship. Asta is powerful because there’s no real counter for his anti- magic. Most people with magic don’t train their physical capabilities because they rely so much on magic to get everything done. From travel to fighting to using magic to do physical work but without the physical. He’s not bullshitting his way through fights he shouldn’t be able to win like natsu does( you could make a whole book about that). It’s just his anti-magic being a perfect counter to just about everything else in that world. I urge you to watch the anime or read the manga or watch a video about the series. Understand what sets this series apart(at the same time making it similar to) other shounen stories. Sorry for making this long

I think that Asta's demon is like Venom from Marvel, the demon is the runt of the clan cause his own power, anti-magic, is eating away at his magic reserves or something which is why he needs a body without magic. I think it would be much more interesting if we find out that the demon is not evil and just is the underdog of the demon clan, like in the recent chapter SPOILERS!!! asta's demon calls the devil his "senior". It would make sense if this demon is a "runt" like venom who is one of the weakest symbiotes and it would explain why the devil has no idea who he is, cause he is a nobody. Plus I think black clover has established that not everything is black and white, especially in this last arc , the elves were the antagonists but they weren't inheritley wrong. So not all "demons" are necessarily evil, they are just beings who live in a demension where "evil" is the norm I guess ^^. I think the demon is not trying to control Asta like kurama was to naruto at first.

I feel like Asta's going to form a contract with the demon. As of right now it's kind of like Asta is pulling the demon's powers by force. If that's the case, imagine how much more power Asta would have if the demon gave his power freely. One of the coolest applications would be Asta being able to incapacitate his foes by absorbing all of their mana in an instant. Edit: Think of their relationship less like Naruto and Kurama and more like Ichigo and Zangetsu (the hollow sword spirit and not the Quincy) as of right now. That doesn't mean it can't be more like Kurama and Naruto later. Personally what I'd like to see is Asta nearly dying and the demon taking over to defend his host. Asta's allies would freak out and the demon would just tell them to chill out.

The ability to enter a person's inner world seems oddly close to devil's looking take possession of people, what more the fact Asta was shown to be physically in there and in his 'normal' state, instead entering through a mental or spiritual method which would be the normal way of connecting with someone, not only that Asta entered with relative ease through Patri's chaotic and distorted mind at the time when other depictions of such would have it shown as much more difficult in such situations.

It’s like kurama in nuruto’s case when he was a teenager. Kurama wanted to take over naturo’s body, but he somehow managed to get along with him. I think the demon will work along with Asta and tell him his real name! you know Naruto didn’t know kirama’s really name, and he needed up knowing later by talking to him and sharing powers!

I think the demon inside asta's grimoire is just like the new demon villian in series that defeated asta and yuno without even sweating. The demon inside asta's grimoire have some evil plans like to control the world or somethin, but I think that it will turn good after his time with Asta because asta is a very good person and the demon will get affected by it and help him save the world from the evil demons that are trying to take over the world. And I also thinks that asta's demon and the demon that fought asta and yuno know each other......

Yuno will become the Wizard King and Asta will become a Hero of their kingdom and the other kingdom also and he will just wander anywhere discovering a lot about world and a set of many swords with different uses. And also he can visit the other dimension where his Demon came from. This is what I like the Black Clover to end. It's MY ideal ending.

What if he is the reincarnation of the demon that had once attacked the village but was defeated by the wizard king. The reason I say this is because he is very distinct from because of the fact that he can't use magic (which might be a reason) or maybe why he got the grimoire. I just feel like the connection between him and his demonically anti magic piers might have something to do with the connection.

I think a cool ability for Asta to get ion the WAY distant future would be a "spell" called Mana Zone Nul- Magic Nullification zone in which Asta would be able to fully control his Anti-magic and negate any magic in his area thus making him an op character and pretty much invincible
