Old dayz. Arma 2. Was scary. Something about the color scheme and art direction really made it “feel” special. Unlike dayz today which doesn’t feel this way at all. I don’t feel nearly the same way I do about standalone that I did about arma 2

Original and best! It is the bleak colors, the apocalyptic feel, the sound, the weather, everything together perfect! Arma 3 feels like a holiday in Greece and Standalone looks too polished and warm. Also, what should bother everyone... the running animation is getting worse for each version.... LOL. A2 looks allright, Arma 3 looks like character is pooping his pants and SA just looks retarded...

@@kane2239 I absolutely agree. I was actually thinking about this the other day. Arma 2 had a very nice animation atleast for the turbo sprint where you guy was like flailing his arms around when running. A lot of motion, a lot of life to the character in that movement. But now? Hardly any at all. Pretty lifeless and dull. I don’t know just seems like we move “forwards” in some regards and backwards in others as new arma’s come out

Does Bohemia have a suggestion email? So many developments can be added to improve everyone’s experience. The Morris Code had to be activated by someone. So they all cannot be dead. Who is launching and where are the artillery coming from? Where are the crashed helicopters launching from and which factions are conducting them and for what purpose? I suggest Bohemia add an Aircraft Carrier group off shore so players can interact with it. Some can raid it or get missions from it.

The gas attacks are military And it's not to "control" the infection, but prevent looting 😂 the military noticed compounds were being raided, so they started controlling surrounding areas. This is why city's get hit occasionally, but at any time 45% of the military zones are a gass attacked civilian areas are roughly 10-25% per 30-45 min round of bombardment

I heard voices at the start of the message very distorted in the static but you can barely make it out. They said help me and there coming, also it said you wont leave. Very creepy stuff 3:21. I turned on closed captions and it was able to detect words begin spoken. There is 100% a hidden message in the static. I’m not going to keep investing this but if someone can clean up the audio and remove the static you’d hear it and I promise you it’s not a good message. Something really horrible happened there and the message is telling people to stay away from green mountain. I can’t believe no one picked up on this or left a comment on it. It starts after the music jingle and ends before the numbers start.

i do wish the dayz we have today we'd pickup something like this randomly whenever we have the radio on our backpack and each town/city has their local radio tower so we can talk to others in other towns via the towns radio tower

I opened up a few bunkers from $tunt$ fuzes, using the numbers from this video. I had everyone in the server come to my location just to investigate the vault? Mine? I don't think any server has access to such things unless it's a community server that has the $tunt$ fuzes.

In game, the lore is all around you. Old rusted tanks, military gear, guns, buildings, cities, all of it is part of the lore of DayZ which extends from the ArmA II storyline.

the entire point of the game is for you to be left alone wondering what happened. you walk through towns with blown up houses. destroyed military vehicles. destroyed civilian vehicles....etc you are supposed to piece things together and speculate on your own...

These have things to do with the vaults. The gates that you see that have a keypad. I spent a month on an xbox community server with the $tunt$ fuzes, and they open up those vaults, the message you get is written across a wall. No zombies spawned in them but there were traps and loot.

During this time they would use the counting stations to distort Soviet radio waves so the Western Forces couldnt learn their intel and confuse them
