Thanks for watching. Yes, An offroad trailer should have no problems. the trail is not technical. It gets slow and bumpy for the last couple miles.

great video ! was wondering if you can tell me how to get back to a highway after the overlook / camp area. I keep reading its a point to point trail but looks like an out and back to me! thanks in advance- robert

It’s basically an out and back trail along County Hwy 5. But, at the school house you can choose to take County ROAD 5 towards Toroweap and Cty Hwy 109.

No permits are needed at Whitmore. I believe Toroweap to the east requires permits.

The website for Grand Canyon Parashant National Monument notes the road to Whitmore Point may rip off bumpers and side rails. Was this road very rough? If not, I think this is the Whitmore Canyon Overlook spot, not Whitmore Point which is northwest of the overlook spot. There is no hiking trail to the river from Whitmore Point, only the Canyon Overlook.
