I do exactly what you said..... Stay high, just looking down in terror at the trees and buildings trying to figure out how in ever gonna land!

Tom Greenwood haha, we’ve all been there! I was flying months before I ever landed 💥 😂 Just practice hovering and throttle control and it will all click 🙂

Great video ! Like how you talk it through. Your easy to listen too and have a calm relaxed teaching vibe!!! I'll make a request for a lesson on trippy spins. I have been wanting to learn this maneuver for a while, cheers!!!

Nice magic, I would of also mentioned the importance of making sure you are pre aligned for the gap early enough, so you are not making adjustments while going through the gap causing room for error 👍🏻

Paul C FPV Yes! 👍👍👍 Great point, I should have mentioned that. I am still learning to be able to talk and fly 😂 🤪

What camera angle do you use...?
@MagicFPV5 жыл бұрын
Tom Greenwood 20 - 25 degrees, so pretty low, which helps a lot with flying proximity, landing and even going backwards. It’s quite a wide angle lens too (Foxeer Predator 1.8mm)
@Bosq75 жыл бұрын
@@MagicFPV that's where I've been going wrong.... On velocidrone sim seemed like we were always aiming for 45, and at that angle you're tearing around so fast you barely have time to think! As soon as I've fixed myself up (flew into a rugby post at full tilt ...) I'll drop the angle and see how we go... Love your videos btw

The trick is to look through the gap, not at the edges of the gap. :D
