I see BK brushes all the time now being used by different makeup artists. One that I see using them a lot is Andreea Ali in Paris. I recognize them right away especially BK and Angie's brushes because of the handle colors. Do you think you could do a quick cheat sheet with your brushes? That would be incredibly helpful. This was extremely helpful! I have most of your brushes and they work great and they clean and start over like a new brush. I was very interested in the explanation of the difference between real hair and synthetic brushes. Sometimes we are made to believe the real hair is better but this was an excellent explanation of the difference between the two and how far synthetic brushes have come. Because I did have some different brushes and I can say that yours are excellent and the others have a new home.

This was an awesome video Lisa. I would even suggest people watch artists, painters, to see how those pros use their brushes. The tool is everything! I would LOVE to see you do a lip video.....how to prep and use brushes, liners to apply lipstick, gloss, etc. I think the lip liner brush is highly underused. It gives the most precise application that stays on using far far less product than just swiping a bullet or wand around the lips. I would love YOUR insight on this. I have evenly balanced but smaller lips, and many applicators or bullet shapes smear product outside my lip lines. ❤

What is the best way and products to use to clean and maintain your brushes?

Love that you are asking Debra! I recommend washing with a liquid soap (or a solid brush cleaner - I like Beauty Blender's) once a week if you use your brushes daily- especially brushes used with cream or liquid products. Wash the heads in luke warm water and avoid getting the handles and ferrules submerged in water (there is glue in there and you don't want to loosen it). Rinse soap out completely when clean, and squeeze excess water, lay them flat on a towel to dry. Don't stand up because the water will drain down the ferrule.

I know now that part of the issues I've had were because I was not using the right brushes to apply, blend, pat, sweep & hold them to achieve the look I wanted. I was hoping to see the difference between Concealer brushes because I bought a dense Morphe M173 Buffer concealer brush and have been using it since to tap and blend my concealer but my concealer never looks how I want it to, certainly not as flawless as yours.
