if you're 22 that is why your beard hasn't fully grown in yet. Testosterone hits its peak in men at approx 25-28 yo. These are the times in which you can get a full thick beard. I know from personal experience. When i was early in my 20s I could barely grow facial hair. once i got older it practically grew overnight. Just keep living, the beard will get thicker naturally. Stay away from those chemicals!

I wondered how quickly you went from clean shaven to a full beard, but you did the same thingI did. I used Minoxidil for 3 months (Jun-Aug this year) and made tremendous gains, from just being able to grow a bit (very short), patchy and mediocre beard, to a dark, fuller and thick beard. I then stopped because thought beard was terminal but it was not, experienced shedding and now got back to it for another 3 months to hopefully get a full permanent dark and thick beard, with no more shedding. Also want to stop it because of one of its side effects which is Collagen Inhibition. I have gotten sun spots, a rougher skin, unwanted hair and little wrinkles (I'm toooo young to even start getting wrinkles) around and under my eyes that were not there before usage of the product. Hopelly my face and my skin's youth go back to how it was a few months back as well.

@@saiidmoussaif4076 No, you don’t have to use for life. You are supposed to retain 75-80% of what you grow. So, whatever amount and thickness of beard you grow (which varies depending on the individual) you will shed around 20% of it and keep the rest. At the end, it will leave you with much more beard than what you started with even if you experience a bit of shedding which by the way is entirely normal. I used It 4 years ago and was able to grow a full beard And recently I have been reconsidering starting one last 3-month supply just to darken and fill in some of the clearer spots I have on my sides. I may do and may not do it, who knows.

First time I used it, after using my first 3-month dosage I ended up with a Thick and Dark beard but then a few months later I noticed I shed some of it and had this patchy look on it and these clear spots on my sides and it just loss thickness and darkness so I used it for another 3 months (actually 2 because I threw away a full bottle thinking it was the empty one I just used lol) and that is it. The most important thing is to keep applying it for a year or two. To make sure all the hair reach the mature level. Otherwise new hair are going to fall off. That is what I know from KZbin videos. Not sure about it. Ask a professional about when to stop it.

To fill in gaps it's best to use rogain and a derma roller. Adjustable stamps are even better 1.5mm is ideal. This causes growth horomone to be released near the hair folical jump starting mature hair growth from peach fuzz. The front of your beard is full, as are the sides. Unless you want a lion goatee I wouldn't if I were you. For others, this is a great way to fill in areas that need it.

Sorry my man I didn’t check your comments yet, but I do want to give you my advice and personal opinion. When you are done with your foam, switch to Kirkland liquid 5%. Yes, liquid isn’t that comfy to apply as the foam and it may give you few sides for the first times you use it, but it does work better man, proven by lots of people. Personally, I use liquid but sadly I’ll have to switch to foam for next 10 months. That’s just my opinion man. Good luck on your beard journey, don’t stop using minox man. Stick to it for a year or better 1.5 or even 2 to maximize your gains. And don’t stop it in one sit. Gradually lower the dosages from 1ml 2times a day to 1 ml 1 time a day to 1 ml 1 time in two days till, to make your quit from minox more stable. Once again, good luck man

DEZZY123 thats yet to be seen man. Lots of docs say, that after quitting minox you will lose your gains. And yet, there are countless amounts of good results on the internet, of people who quit minox and didn’t lose any gains(or did lose 10% of it which isn’t much if you think about it). Overall it’s about the time his beard hairs gonna take to transition from vellus to terminal. If he quits early, vellus hairs WILL fall out. So if he quits now, he will lose most of his beard. But if he’ll stick to it for at least a year, he won’t lose most of it. Basically, the longer you use, the less you lose.
