Thanks for sharing your process; not just the technical, but the story telling aspect. I think many shooters focus solely on the gear and technique and overlook how shots cut together and how to tell the story. And btw, your shots look great for this docu-style, minimal lighting, slice of life look. Bravo!

I just finished watching this video and I'm impressed by the thoroughness and practicality of the tips shared. It's clear that the expert has a lot of experience in documentary filmmaking. The advice on preparing for the interview, creating a comfortable atmosphere, and capturing high-quality audio and video is incredibly valuable. Can't wait to apply these techniques to my own documentary project. Highly recommend!

Awesome!! Do you use a light meter on the shots? Can you explain how you metered the exposure on windows to compensate on his face inside?

This is another great insigtht TP. Always a school day. Any chance of an insight into your research process? How you go about selecting characters for the Dokos? Discarding others, as i'm pretty sure some may turn out to be inappropriate to the story you want to tell, etc? How you approach them? This would be really useful. No probs if not poss as the info you do share is really great anyway, so.... All the best. Thanks for sharing. Please keep em coming.
