You said blackmagic “hasn’t updated the Gen 5 profiles“ when setting up the color space transform. It’s there. the gamut is “wide gamut Gen 4/5“ and the gamma is “film gen 5.” For future reference!

Are you intentionally overexposing your videos so you can bring the exposure down with LUTs?

Yes, because if you underexpose and raise exposure in post you get a lot of noise in the shadows. Better overexpose to get clean shadows and bring down exposure afterwards
