I needed this. I'm in a battle trying to let go of a second job. It took me a while to realize that I trusted the second job more than I trusted God's provision. It was a sense of control for me and I need to surrender my life in it's entirety to God. My son, my body, my faith walk are all suffering because I'm trying to be the ultimate provider instead of looking to the ultimate miracle worker.

Truly needed this! I’ve been struggling with control. Surrendering is scary because I feel that I will loose my sense of control but this way of thinking is incorrect. To give up my control is to surrender to a God who is FULLY in control.

I fear I have hardened my heart beyond repair. I adamantly refused to surrender everything, and instead believed the lies of the enemy just like Adam and Eve in the garden. I am just like Pharaoh. As long as you have never given up or relinquished into the hands of God, the very thing that you have desired and prayed for and got, you do not yet know surrender. To surrender our lives to Jesus is beneficial for us because when we do so we actually preserve our lives. But to keep our lives or to hold on to our lives is not beneficial to us because we end up losing it. To surrender to him is the best gift we can give ourselves.
