How do you identify a sample that works with your chord progression?

Well first obvi make sure arcade is set to the same key you wrote your chords. But otherwise. Gonna just be a random guessing game! Seeing what fits or maybe you can chop and flip an arcade sample to make it work. Or find an arcade sample and build around that. A lot of arcade samples are built around commonly used chord progressions I feel like. So like most all things in music. It’s sort of an experimental guessing game and seeing what happens and going with what you like!
