Your opponent has passed all your defenders, so it’s left just the keeper and the striker, you see him coming, and how do you control the keeper manually in this situation from preventing the striker from scoring. One on one situation can easily be handled by doing a ball roll. Use the right analog stick to do the ball roll. Also to defend one on one situation against opponent u can easily bring the goalkeeper out by pressing and holding the triangle on your controller. Thanks me later

This is great but It doesn’t explain what to do if your opponent sprints 310km per hour the entire game, runs you off every ball like Usain Bolt. Intercepts nearly every pass you make, gets behind your defenders so casually like he’s going down to the shops to buy milk and every shot he takes goes in ? 🤷‍♂️ I’m on level 8 and I experience this almost every game . There is really no point in me playing anymore . Any tips ??

Patience most kids psg with constant pressure so in the second half their players will be dead and you can dominate the game

Yes. Only press tackle if you're 95% sure to win the ball. Otherwise your player will be in no mans land

playing against cpu? nothing you can do. they'll always be able to reach you due to the game's setting. While you with a slower defender will have a hard time chasing cpu players running in front.

Jockey needs to be manual dude. Manual makes it easier to track dragbacks etc in backs. Assisted slows you down

Bulidrians yes but are supposed to not hold sprint, just tap sprint to be around him with a little bit of distance and be patient. The attacker needs to come your way always keep that in mind. Let him expose himself before you strike. All pros use manual jockey

The problem mate is, that the players, who normally plays in 1-3 divison let them drop to division 7-10 in rivals because they can get good players and other rewards. A thing that completely has destroyed UT tbh

I've never gotten higher than division 5, but I've found that slowing down your game really helps. Don't get the ball then sprint right away, take your time. Also learning the bounce pass is a must. When passing, tap the "A" or "Y" button (Xbox) to do the pass, it puts some air underneath the ball and makes it more difficult to intercept...

It’s such a joke how defenders, no matter what their pace stats are, catch up to the attackers, even if they have 99 pace. Surely EA have to address this going forward. They want a realistic game but all players run at the same speed in game. If R9 got on behind a defender irl there was no way he was getting caught. He would just burn past. Same with players like Mbappe now. Once there are gone, they are gone. No hope of catching them. But not in Fifa. Get a defender with 70 pace. It’s all you need. You’ll catch Mbappe, Mane, Eusebio. Anyone. No problem
