I don't think so because in pikmin 1 to 2 (till now it's menssioned everywhere and in the garden website they talk about it ]it shows that the place is pretty munch a time anomaly

Pikmin 3 has you travel to each continent, just distorted ones to ours because it is in a form called Pangea
