Only in the UK version, the American Version has David Henrie in the role as Sho, who in my honest opinion was completely miscasted in the role as Sho.

I’m actually impressed that you along with LIPPSSMACKER, WorkingTitleReacts, Reel-Time and 3 Katanas are one of the few reaction channels to react to the films of Studio Ghibli, who have been notorious on taking down clips and reactions of anything related to Ghibli hence why they’re not as many reactors doing reactions to their films out of fear and caution that those video reactions would be copyrighted by Studio Ghibli themselves. You should react to Whisper of the Heart, From Up on Poppy Hill, and The Cat Returns next. The Cat Returns is a spin off from Whisper of the Heart, so you should watch Whisper of the Heart first and then The Cat Returns afterwards.

There’s actually two different English versions of _The Secret World of Arietty_ the American release has Bridgit Mendler, David Henrie, Carol Burnett, Will Arnett and Amy Phoeler while the UK version (the one you guys are watching) had Saoirse Ronan, Tom Holland, Mark Strong and Olivia Colman. It’s hard to say which one I like, but I do think Tom Holland was casted better as Sho than David Henrie in the American release.

Hello Suzy and Steejo just to let know in the American version of this movie the boy narrates that he returned a year later, he never saw Arrietty again but a neighbor a few houses down reported things going "missing".

If you liked this version, then you should also react to the 1996 live-action movie "The Borrowers", with John Goodman, it's great too, it has a different vibe, more goofy and lighthearted. We still follow the misadventures of Arrietty and her family (with a small addition, she has a little brother named Peagreen in this one, which for the little anecdote is played by Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy in his very first role).

If you like Studio Ghibli, you should watch Mamoru Hosoda's works. He has many famous works in Japan and is an animator recognized by Hayao Miyazaki.

I Loved the concept of The Barrowers, but the execution was not the best. So when this Ghibli remake came out and it was absolutely beautiful I was SO HAPPY!
