All the scriptures quoted are true, but the question is, in context the giving is to who? Tell your listeners in context the purpose of the giving and to whom most of the time the giving should be directed to. The problem with messages like this is that the generosity of attendees are directed towards the so called man of God. Therein lies the falsehood. So, if you preach that your listeners give generously to the needy within and without the community of believer, then you have rightly divided the scriptures on giving. E,g Galations 2 and 2 Corinthians 8 etc

From Genesis to the book of Revelation, giving is mostly stated as giving to the needy and it is common sensical, not revelational. You and I don't need revelation to know who is needy. All these grammar that these so-called men of God come up with really mess up the minds of their listeners. Revelation used in the context of Scripture means apocalypse - bringing to the fore, the unknown. Again you don't need revelation to know the needy in your gathering and those needy people out there. Having said this, when he mentioned giving by revelation, he mentioned what he considers revelational giving and they are mostly giving that you and i know goes into the purses of the so-called men of God. The so-called men of God are not only pastors, but also administrators of the collective funds of the community. If they are priests, then they should know that 1 peter 2:9 makes it clear that everyone called by God is a priest. Enough of all these gimmicks by so-called men of God! God's Holy name is being blasphemed because of such misrepresentation of the words of God - Roman 2

No wonder many believers are so depressed , and get into so many things to survive . With this kind teaching will rather depressed many believers than do them good. 40 or 50 k is a family salary with wife and three kids at school , rent , feeding so how do we do the maths here . ? Not that believers are open hearts like other religious orgamizations that cares about their members .
