I have a pair of Canali butter coloured pants that have the legs a bit wider than ordinary pants, and they are sheer bliss the second I step into them. Cool and comfortable to the touch. I wear them with a navy blue blazer with brass buttons and brown beautifully polished Oxford shoes. I’ve actually been laughed at for being smartly dressed, such is the slovenly way some people think. People in cities are less inclined to treat you like that, but small towns sometimes have higher proportions of small - minded people in them. I overheard someone say “look at the state of him” he had ill-fitting torn jeans and jacket with dirty trainers, but it was me that was “the state”. I don’t dress up a lot, but if I go to the city, I do.

I absolutely love Italian suits, something about how they craft their suits can't compare to others. Proud owner of a double breasted navy suit.
@mrvk395 жыл бұрын
it's because others stopped crafting suits a long time ago. They all switched to mostly machine-made, industrial suit production. Even most on Saville Row do it now. Many Italians are the last in the world who continue to do a lot or even most by hand.

I think they slightly follow trends on lapel size. So for the last 10 years narrower lapels have been in style. Custom tailors are not making wide lapels, but more medium width, to remain in style longer. IMO.

My ideal brand would be based in Paris, their couture made by the french ateliers, their shoes made by italian craftsmen in Florence, Rome or Milan, their suits made by London craftsmen in England, their tweed coming from the authentic stream, their perfume made exclusively with flowers from Grasse, their jewellery made at the Place Vendôme, their silk coming from authentic chinese family brands, their leather from the great tanneries in Marrakesch or Fès in Morocco, their gold coming from Brazil and Congo, their diamonds from South Africa and Namibia. That would be the ultimate luxury. The only one coming close is Chanel, but even Chanel is not this extreme, all their ateliers are based in Paris, embroidery and plissés made outside of the city.

Fabiana Milone From a Riffian Moroccan, Italia does not deserve the crisis given by the EU. Where is pride when EU is fucking Spain, Greece and Italy by the Euro and politics? Things must change, i miss Italy and real Italians. You can't disagree with the truth.
@GrumpyStormtrooper7 жыл бұрын
Billie Hansen Europe like this doesn't work, you either make it a unified federal state (United States of Europe) or just trash the whole idea. EU as it is is not that well executed as an idea.
@samgeurdi63517 жыл бұрын
Fuck the Ibises EU is based on an idea back in the 1700 but Europe unlike USA has massive rich history and wars and many more diversities from cultures to people. The US has none of that problems. People just move to the us and that's it. That's like making South America and North America one state. Even US have federal and state laws to abide to. It's not that clean cut. Nothing is.
@billiehansen62177 жыл бұрын
Fuck the Ibises Well, the United States of America never worked either so why would you even think that the EU would work? A label? A joint currency? I'm Riffian from Morocco and we have never ever liked Arabized Berbers because they've always waged war on us and tried to Arabize us like the rest of North Africa. But we are Mediterranean we are not Arabs or even now that they have colonised the Rif as you can see on KZbin our offspring might be Arabized by rule of conquest but not by ethnicity. Fuck unity when It's by force, fuck love when It's by rape and fuck wealth when It's by hate. Each European nation should become It's own nation with it's own currency as it was beforehand. If you follow the money you'll see that It's getting narrower until It's 1 currency, 1 order, 1 chip. We all suffer from this whether most of us know it or not.
