In two of our previous videos we took a ride outside and inside our camper, a 4x4 truck that we set up with our hands trying to make it suitable for the experience that awaited us, or around the world. The questions you put in your comments are very tempting, so we decided to answer by proposing a new video. How is our four-wheeled house built? What do you really need? What are the particular solutions we have adopted? When we camped our vehicle we studied a lot and so we are equipped with many solutions that we thought useful. After about two years from the beginning of our world tour and from the moment we started living on the fulltimer camper, we can share with you what are the most important and fundamental solutions for us. Those that make us comfortable all the groups. In the video we try to explain why every single choice we have appreciated, giving an overview as real as possible on the needs of a traveler at 360 degrees ready to spend years on the road. The territories and the countries we pass through have very different characteristics and therefore the solutions we adopt must provide for every possibility. Very often those who have to camperizzare a VAN, a van, a 4x4 off-road vehicle to start a life fulltimer could be in trouble because he does not know where to start. Our hope is that in this video where we deal with different topics it can be very useful.
What we will talk about:
1) Water / diesel separator filters
2) Spare wheels
3) TPMS sensors
4) Gavoni
5) Secondary vehicle for emergencies
6) Insulation and windows for campers
7) Solar panels
8) Inverter
9) Electric cooking plate (operation without gas)
10) Washing machine on board
11) Potabilization system
12) Compressor refrigerator
13) Internal Disposition
14) Home automation
15) Surprise!
We will also talk about the things we realized to be useless on board the camper, trying to give you advice on how to best prepare for an experience like ours.
Who we are:
Simone and Lucia, a couple on a full-time trip from April 2017 on board our truck to which we gave the name Valentino. We started from Italy not for escape, far from it, we did it to discover the world that hosts us, the people who live it, their different traditions, the endless and fascinating cultures that make humanity the most beautiful thing there is. We started to immerse ourselves in nature, to see and touch the fauna and flora that enrich our planet making it the most precious thing we have. We travel aware and proud of our Italian culture, something that is part of us and of our way of relating to the people and peoples we meet. We use what precious our country has given us to discover more than others, but also to reciprocate with what we are.
