Almost 2 months now the theories and possible new story elements have been running wild on youtube and podcasts everywhere. The white whale was attacked very conveniently near Mira ( in infinite space with unfathomable distances between planetary bodies Mira being just there....suspicious and of course how is MIra sustaining all life organic and non-organic.

I love X so I share your hype for the remaster. When you mentioned no xenoforms fitting the profile of a human my mind immediately went to Professor B since he has a humanoid form despite not looking quite human albiet a bit more of a bulky frame. So I was amused when you brought him up right after in reference to the mystery of planet Mira. On the note of larger frames, I never understood why Commander Vandham has a mimeosome with such giant biceps, seems kind of inconvenient if they ever had to "repair" the guy and flies in the face of replaceable parts for a skeleton crew of a space craft. Technically Elma had two other partners before Cross. During Chapter 4 Lao casually asks about Danny and Boris, and Elma mentions they were KIA during an encounter with a "powerful indigen." As for the partner that supposedly was lost back on earth, Doug mentions they used a tandem skell with Elma, and they also play a video of a skell fighting within the White Whale getting flung into space during a battle that took place two years later by their pursuers. This raises so many questions though. Is the flashback video unrelated or was he lost after they escaped earth and not on earth? If it was a tandem skell was he piloting it without Elma for some reason? If not, how did Elma make it back without him? I do agree that it makes sense that Elma's partner might have known Lao, and this is even more likely if he were lost after they left earth because they'd have been on the same ship for two years. At the same time it is never made clear that Lao knows the cloaked figure. The fact that he appears on a beach that looks like it's in Primordia suggests he either just popped into existence near Lao, or has been actively avoiding contact with NLA, which also does not make a lot of sense. My money is on that person being an entity like Alvin of the trinity processors, which could very well explain how everyone remained concious on mira despite the destruction of the lifehold, as well as explain what has been acting as a translator for the various species on the planet. Also, I can't imagine they don't bring the Zohar back into the picture. It would be very interesting if Elma's partner was one of the trinity processors, since we also don't fully understand why she had a mission to save humanity or how she knew of the coming invasion. I don't know if they ever explain where she came from, but she was apparently familiar with the Qlu race that Celica is a part of. Which is another can of worms that feels like it was left unfinished.

I never ment to imply The Knight cant be A xenoform, just that some are far too physically different to fit the appearance we see. He absolutely could be a Rothian or Qlurian, but not a Nopon. As for the timing of the Hero’s disappearance, thats my bad. I forgot about the 2 year time jump.
