A video on how to make a cuppa? Are you insane? Civil wars have started for less, then factor in the fact that Americans (those savages that microwave water) may see it and actually have the audacity to comment on cuppa technique….. doesn’t bear thinking about. There is already too much violent conflict in the world without Peachy adding to it!

Great first vid here. I use drybrush and edge highlights together at times. Drybrush for the main bulk of it and a little bit more edge highlights on certain areas I want to stand out. That sponge technique with the brush cover is inventive. Is there a particular type of sponge you would recommend?

One thing about an all over wash that I think often gets overlooked is that If you have a model with 4 or 5 colours on it (with equipment and clothing etc), using one neutral tone like brown or grey to shade everything ties the model together and makes it look more realistic. This is particularly true if you want things to look dirty or dusty.
@AndrewMBeverly6 ай бұрын
Great video! I wish I had this 3 years ago when I began painting my space wolves. Many helpful tips I learned the hard way and some I hadn't learned at all, all in one quick video.
@volcano34936 ай бұрын
I chose to use two different kinds of grey to apply on a black basecoat for my 40K Iron Hands via drybrushing. It´s a fast and simple method which guarantees that your mental health is still intact even after painting over a hundred minis in that way. Whenever a drybrush step is complete washes are used (black and brown) to darken the model again to prevent a dominant grey colour in the end. Suffice to say such a paint job looks rather drab so a glowing light effect for the eye lenses was needed to make the mini pop. In the end use of transfers and pigments to create dust effects make the model ready for the tabletop. Putting the blister foam in the protective brush sheath is a great idea!
