someone is interfering in solo and cody so this has to be what cody does after summerslam and id run the program through the royal rumble. id let orton win it at some point, too. have the rock win the royal rumble once the bloodline civil war is over and cody win the title back the same night and boom, there’s your wrestlemania main event. cody needs a solid, long feud to solidify himself apart from the bloodline and randy is perfect for that.

In his first year, he'll be baby face but when it looks like he'll drop the Undisputed WWE Championship (Similarly to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39) Cody Rhodes turns heel and retains, holding onto the Undisputed WWE Championship for another year. The reason behind this heel turn would be simple. The Undisputed WWE Championship had been taken away from Cody Rhodes' father. Cody Rhodes himself nearly had his Undisputed WWE Championship rematch at WrestleMania 40 taken from him. He wasn't going to allow anyone to take anything from him, and he'd do anything it takes to remain Undisputed WWE Champion. And, unlike Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes won't have a stable to help him retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. His feud with Randy Orton, alongside other potential feuds, will show that Cody Rhodes can indeed be a massive threat when pushed and him turning heel is essentially him being in that sadistic state 100% of the time. He'll be similar to Brock Lesnar. Incredibly durable (He kicked out of a Spear + Samoan Spike Combo at WrestleMania 40) and incredibly dangerous (His feud with Randy Orton).

Ngl l like the idea and l have been thinking about it since the match with AJ Styles at CATC because in the ending of that match he showed he could go rogue and there is no one better to push him a little bit further than Randy and then he could turn after the Bloodline feud officially ends because l think the match between him and Rock will happen at Wrestlemania just because of Rock's ego and maybe his schedule, but we'll see. Anyway this is how we get the Cody Vs Cena match as well if we ever get to that

And I honestly don't thing Cody vs Rock is happening at Mania 41. I think that Mania is reserved for Rock vs Roman fighting for the head of the Table position because you know that Rock is behind Solo and crew. I think Randy and Cody is going to go through Survivor Series to Mania 41. and the rivalry will end at Mania.

Orton turning on cody is very predictable. The better idea is having cody turn on orton turning him heel. Codys reasoning would be simular to Bayley and sasha where the seeds were being planted and sasha would betray baley, but then it was baley who turned on sasha.
