I saw the Seeds as the opening act for the Jefferson Airplane back around 1967. That was an odd pairing and the audience was anxious to have the Jefferson Airplane come on stage. Personally, Pushing Too Hard is one of my favorite singles and I have their first two albums.

The Seeds were a giant part of the music revolution and it is amazing that they were allowed to appear on this show, Sunday night, after Disney and before Bonanza. We are lucky to have this. Sky Saxon was a charismatic front man

Look how sky just burst into energy. His dancing is like mine, we use our hands a lot. I saw the seeds twice in the 60s and this song still send me into orbit. One of the times I saw them in 1967 was with the doors in Santa Barbara. Also Darryle’s keyboard Very creative, I hung out with him when they showed the documentary about seven years ago in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara. I saw a Recents video where he really showed his classical training in piano. Sky was just as charismatic if not more so than Mick Jagger without the Leo ego. He died in Austin the same day as Michael Jackson. Of course near the end you would not have recognized him. 60s generation is dropping like flies. Yes we are lucky to have this thank you so much!

Sky Saxon was a wild man. But he was a really cool cat, used to come down from his Hollywood Hills pad to score his party favors from me, '68 >'69 was a great time for killer Thai Sticks, Afghani Kush, Nepalese Black Hash. Sky has been gone quite a few years now, but that song lives on.
